Nice buy. I'll be interested to see how you like it. I've been spoiled playing this via MAME in it's proper very wide screen aspect. All the screenshots I've seen of the SS rev look rather cramped.

I think that the Saturn version lets you scale the screen size in and out as you play. Sounds strange, but it works.

Odd...didn't know that was rare. I got a mint Mega Drive version for $3 a few months ago tho :)

That's not Darius 1, that's Darius Alpha. It's a promo only version of Super Darius for Duo...nothing but solid boss fights, and it was only available in very limited quantities thru a mail order deal in Japan. It's quite rare and almost always goes for $800+ easy, and often over $1000. I'd say it's the most expensive PC Engine game out there actually....only a factory sealed copy of Sapphire compes close.
