I'm interested to hear about your top three greatest finds on ebay. Whether it be a killer deal, or just something that you had spent ages looking for.

Anyway, I'll start with my own, not too special, finds:

1.) I bought a NOS Neo Geo AES/MVS memory card for $30 shipped once with BIN. These aren't too common, and a nice condition loose one might even go for this if it was semi-complete.

2.) Last night I won an auction for 95 N64 boxes. $80 shipped. The best part is that a Scultor's Cut box is in the lot. That made it worth the money.

3.) A month ago I bough 40 N64 boxes for $50 shipped. All were in mint condition, and all rarer titles. Including ISS2000, Starcraft and Paper Mario.

Nothing special, but they made me happy. Now, make me jealous with yours!

2) Sega Genesis lot. 2 systems, 4 control pads, Power base converter, the blue and pink justifier guns and 42 boxed, mostly complete games. Among completes was Gunstar Heroes and Streets of Rage 3, $82.

3) An official nintendo top loader with 15 complete games for $180. Turned out Tiny Toon Adventures 2 was factory sealed. :)

I saw those auctions for the boxes. You looking to get rid of any of them? I didn't bid because I wasn't thinking about it.

My best wins are usually large lots.

(In no particular order)

1.) Lot of 50 Sega CD Games, 30 Saturn games, 3DO stuff, numerous rare titles, all for $60 shipped. Auction title was just "Nintendo CD games"

2.) Big box of stuff including 40 loose genny games, 25 loose SNES games (SMRPG, SMAS, FFVI), A Genesis 2, a Dreamcast, a Jaguar, 5 jag games (incl AvP), a Game Gear, tons of connectors/controllers, etc... All for $50 shipped.

3.) This is probably the best find ever. I found a place that had like 2 dozen Sony IVO-V11 Portable CD-I machines in mint condition, they'd bought them from a Bell Atlantic liquidation. I got them for $50 unit, and sold them for $125/unit on average. Paid off my credit cards. They arrived at my house on a pallet 8-)

My top three would have to be:

Factory Sealed Suikoden I PAL ~ Bought this in 2002, and was a Buy It Now option for only £65!!! What a bargain! Especially seeing as unsealed ones at the time were roughly the same amount. And have recently gone up in value too.

Factory Sealed Vandal Hearts II PAL ~ A prominent eBay seller was selling a couple of these. I was lucky enough to get one for about £55. A true collector's item for sure!

Factory Sealed Paper Mario PAL ~ Now these don't come up for auction often, as many were unsealed. Sealed ones are exceptionally rare with their red Nintendo tear strip, and I have only ever seen two on eBay. My one, which I got for about £75, and another one which ended at over £125!!!

Special mention for a factory sealed copy of Sega Rally on the N-Gage which I got for £20 BIN a few months back. Within a few hours of it being listed, I snapped it up. Never seen one before then, and never seen one since. Exceptionally rare as it was only released in Australia!

Another special mention for a bundle of factory sealed Dreamcast games I bought last month for about £75. Nineteen games, of which one was Samba De Amigo (Factory Sealed) ~ The previous sealed copy to sell on eBay went for £75, so that game alone was worth the money I paid for the package, but then I also had eighteen other sealed games all worth at least a fiver each as a bonus! :)

2: 2 copies of tengens tetris (nes) for £9 each :D sold one kept the other

3: teenage mutant ninja/hero turtles jamma arcade pcb... it's the harder to find english two-player version, much rarer than the 4-player one for £30 posted

Sealed Zelda 2 for $10 must be one of the best deals ever taken place on Ebay, atleast what I've seen/heard. I got a sealed Action 52 NES for $15 once, but Zelda 2 tops it.

In order, from best to least best: (In my opinion)
1. Zelda 1, NES Factory Sealed GOLD

2. Playchoice 10 Countertop Machine (GREAT CONDITION)

3. Sealed Gameboy Set, Original Gameboy, the one with the Longer box with accesories with it. Brand New + Sealed

I haven't gotten anything too special that wasn't brand new or sealed. Usually I find all that stuff at reasonably prices, and nothing to brag about either. :)

Probably my best was a $50 BIN for a CDX with hook-ups, a couple controllers, and a few Genesis carts.

Other good stuff:

Boxed Sega CD 2 with the paper work and parts and such for $20-something shipped.

A PlayStation lot that had a boxed, perfectly working, modified launch day PlayStation with all its stuff, couple controllers, 5 memory cards, a NegCon controller, a boxed Namco arcade stick (which easily sells for $50), and 20 games that are all minty and complete (except for one missing a manual), which included Namco Museum Vol. 2 and some other fairly rare and valuable games all for just slightly over $100 shipped. And the guy ended up throwing in a bunch of burnt games, two of which included official manuals for some reason, and one was Einhander's manual. :)

Another PlayStation lot with 20 games that included a loose disc of Tactics Ogre, misspelled as "Tactics Orge" for $75 shipped. I sold it along with a loose Beyond the Beyond for about $55, and I could've sold the PlayStation and ended up with the $18 games for free, but I ended up giving the PlayStation as a present to my sister-in-law. :P

This stuff is all actually pretty recent, being from the last year or so. I think my memory of older good deals is foggy. :P
