Saw this linked on N-Philes.com. The boxed Gameboys alone make it seem pretty worthwhile, but the Famicom seems pretty expensive. I've actually been looking for a cheap boxed/complete Gameboy for a while. Only thing stopping me from getting these is that they're Hong Kong language packaging.

The Super Mario Bros. capsule toy keychains are pretty damn sweet too, but I think it's all random what you get when you order those kinds of things. Oh well, hopefully someone likes this stuff!

Text from the page:

Nintendo's distributor in Hong Kong has moved their warehouse to a bigger premise during the last couple of months. Surprisingly, while preparing the transit, several goods from the nineties have been found in the corner of the location (!). Not knowing what to do with these oldies in mint condition, the company has contacted Lik Sang for help. We happily accepted the goods, which are now available in our Classics section.

First of, several piles of consoles have been discovered, and we have collected today a couple of dozens of boxed Super Famicom systems, as well as a hundred of Gameboy systems (the original black and white edition). Most of the Gameboys come in their original retro colors, which should please a few collectors out there. Definitely a nice piece of glorious gaming history to add to your museum. The Super Famicom comes with an official controller, the appropriate AV cable and a 100-250 V Power Supply (UK plug). The box is brand new and everything inside is untouched, still concealed in factory plastic bags.

Fortune pisses pisses on me. In the week and a half that i've been unemployeed some many good deals appear.

First the Capcom RE Bundle, now this. I want that Super Famicom and the classic white gameboy. The HK language only makes it more tempting.

Is that a good price for the Super Famicom? I don't really know much about that stuff.

It's actually a very positive surprise that we could get *any* of these classic systems in our hands. For the anecdote, one might find it interesting that over yesterday night at our online store, the original Gameboy Black and White has been outselling by far any system carried by Lik Sang, including nextgen handhelds such as the PSP or the Nintendo DS!

Bet noone saw THAT coming, lol.

Got all excited when I read this, but all are sold out...

Gameboy was a very early videogaming experience of mine, I loved my Gameboy

It was bought second hand (money was tight back then) and it came with about 3 games - Tetris, Mickeys Dangerous Chase and Blades of Steel. All fantastic games.

I would of loved to buy a brand new Gameboy.. such fond memories.. :(

Holy crap. When I posted this, everything was still available, or at least, all the prices were still listed. I feel bad for teasing so many people now.

Oh well, the 8-bit keychains are still cool.

I bet somebody bought all the gameboys they had to sell later. At 19.90 apiece, that was probably a smart move.

Wow, $20 each for brand new Game Boys?

They could have easily $50 or $100 and still sold them all to very diehard collectors. There were only a hundred units, after all....
