an a little History (We kno no one likes History, but it's important Smile)

Now for the major reason for my post. We want to atleast attempt to look professional. That includes Banners to display the clubs and panflets for people to have some info on who we are. That costs money.

For now my estimated costs run close to 400$, so i'm looking for people to Donate. Obviously i'm also putting this post on CCJVQ and we hope to have the most amount of money possible or we'll have to cut in some places.

I feel like this is a touchy subject but is must be done.
The money will have to be put into my account since i will be making most of the purchases and i'm the organiser. Congo Bongo approved this post even though i still feel weird asking for it.

Donation will be done by Paypal at * sales at killerkorp.com *
Please put you Nick so i know whom the donation is coming from.

The only Insurance is provide Paypal Statements to CongoBongo on demand and keep everything nicely organised in an excel sheet.

If there is any left over, it goes back to CongoBongo for other club uses. Same thing for the Banner that could be used during Swap meets and the panflets that could be distributed for promotional purposes.

Thank you for all your help, and if you have any questions just ask.

Actually, have you thought about doing, instead of donations, sponsorships? I know that in the case of a show very close to me (OVGE/OKGE), I sent the organizer money ahead of time; in exchange, my website's name was displayed along with the show banner at the main door. That might be an approach to consider - it's less suspect, and there's something in it for the people buying the sponsorships.

i thought about it, the only problem here was that if the show happens again next year we'll have to print new banners depending on who sponsors then..

where as all we're asking is a little help. so we dont show up looking pretty stupid, and without the necessary banner and panflets.

Sniper was nice enough to post on DP.. i don't particularly have much recognition here. There are plenty of people that can vouch for me though.and i'm ready to give Joe the same info upon request as the other admins..

And i guess here is a little more info that would help.
Maxlords is part of the team of people who will be there. He told me he had spoken to Joe about getting some pomlementery stuff to give away.

Lady Jaye is also part of the team... some else who I think is pretty well known around these parts.

if the show becomes a yearly event then hopefully we can make it bigger and bigger. adding coin-op and what not..

Thank you for all your help..
