I've recently come across a complete copy of Cyber Tiger for the N64 on ebay and in the auction the seller didn't list the condition of the item and the photo only showed the box. So like most other completists would do I E-mailed the seller about the condition of the manual and the game label. A few hours later I received this uninformative E-mail:
"THE GAME WORKS GREAT"
Assuming he misunderstood the question in my previous E-mail i responded with:
"It's great to know the game I in good working condition but I believe the question was what's the condition of the game's box, manual and cartridge label. I'm a serious collector and I'm interested in purchasing this one if the contents are in good shape. Apologies if my previous E-mail came across as unclear to you. Thanks and have a great night."
Soon after I received this awfully rude response:
"if i wanted to sell to collectors i would have got a magnify glass and listed every detail but i did not i just sell good working games for people that want to play them if you want to collect look else where not time to list everything"
Apparently he's not that eager to sell it seeing as he doesn't have the console listed in the auctions title. It certainly doesn't take a magnify glass to list the condition as good, fair, poor, excellent, etc. I have NEVER meant a single video game collector who buy games to just have them sit on shelves to collect dust so why he presume an N64 fanatic such as me would do so is anyone’s wild guess.
What do you roundtable members think? Should i take a gamble and bid on the item (it's still relatively low) or take my business to someone who actually wants to sell there games? If anyone has a complete copy of this game that's in good shape that they're willing to sell drop me a pm.
PS: PLEEAAASSE DO NOT SEND THIS SELLER HATE E-MAILS.
