I wrote an article on the Nintendo Virtual Boy system about a month ago, but wasn't on the DP forums to pimp it. I thought some here might be interested in reading it.
Here's the link:

If there are any factual inaccuracies (which I hope there aren't), feel free to fire me off an email at the link at the bottom of the page, and I'll correct it as soon as I can.
Thanks.

I'll give the article a read during lunch. It looks good - albeit nothing I haven't read before. That web site might be worth a look through, too. Thanks for the link :)
Heheheheh... the article was pretty amusing :) . Only thing you might want to add in is at the end about the Japanese games, Virtual Bowling is the rarest of all VB games, but you don't make any mention of it at all. And prototypes are even more ridiculous... a Space Pinball prototype (working title for Galactic Pinball) just sold for $1800 on ebay, and it doesn't even run on the regular VB hardware!

I had no idea Virtual Bowling was that rare -- it doesn't seem to get a lot of mention. I'll see if I can't tweak my article a bit to include it. : )
I didn't include protos because it's really hard to keep track of those things unless you consistently stalk ebay, but thanks for the heads-up.

That was a nice read. I was going to say that you owe me a royalty for calling the Virtual Boy a "red-headed stepchild" (link) (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=68371&highlight=stepchild), but it looks like your article came first so why don't we just call it a happy coincidence :embarrassed: ?

FYI, Virtual Bowling has been fetching $1200 on eBay a few years ago (complete like new w/o defects on conditions).

I thought Nester was the official Nintendo red-headed step-child?
