Since I can't participate because stupid Canada doesn't have the sale, I figured I'd at least start the thread. I found a couple others online but they were sold out of these...can ANYONE help me out with any of these?? Will pay above cost of course:

My Best Buy had Shit there. There were a couple copies of crap games and they were all the 9.99 ones. The employee in the dept said that there was a bunch more, but it was snatched up when they opened. I looked at tags when I was in there but really didnt see anything worth buying... (not even CatWoman for a buck).

I didn't know about this until right now. There is a Best Buy not even 5 minutes from my school and I have a 4 hour break in between classes. I am going today to see what I can find. Paper Mario for 14.99 is an awesome deal.

I just found out about this, are there special tags on the games to know which ones have this deal or something?

Not to dash anyone's hopes, but I think that most BBs didn't have much of anything.

I walked in with the full list first thing in the morning, and I only came away with 1 copy of Ys (sorry, I'm keeping) and 1 copy of Excitebike.

Very sad as I had hoped for much more.

There's something shitty about that Best Buy sale. A lot of the games ring up more than they should. The Best Buy that I went to looked like something out of the movie Euro Trip, with all the guys going to the nude beach looking for chicks? There were already 5 guys when I got there with the same list I had.

However, I had my girlfriend head over to the Hollywood Best Buy right when it opened, and she cleaned it out for the most part. 50 games, and she would have had PLENTY more, but some of the prices were raised (on 4.99 titles) for 9.99, and I am not willing to pay that much for some silly games. On another note, she did manage to get Growlanser and Paper Mario, and she LEFT some there because she thought it was bad to actually take more than one. After arguing on the phone, she tried to grab them 5 minutes later, but they were gone. She was the only person in the store with baskets filled with games, around 100 until she had to put 50 back because of the pricing differences.

Anyway, I don't think people are going to sell games for only a couple of bucks more unless they are pretty common...like I said before, a lot of the prices were wrong, and all the Best Buys I know of were cleaned out weeks before...

The BB sale sucked, as far as I could tell. I hit 3 BBs. The best deal I got was one GBA Excitebike for 99 cents. I got a few of the $9.99 titles and maybe a couple of $4.99 titles. A few good $9.99 titles I got include Paper Mario 2 CUB, Ys PS2, and Harvest Moon CUB. All the Ty Tasmanian sucking game titles wer $4.99.

Several titles I really wanted weren't at any store. And there was severe inconsistency in pricing- I went to two within two miles of each other, and at the first, Harvest Moon was $30, and at the second, it was $9.99. I did get FF1&2 GBA for $9.99.

I can only say I wish I'd bought more copies of Ys- although I'm not sure that there was more than the one I got. I'll post my spares. There won't be alot.

This sale was a piece of crap. Between what wasn't left and the employees, I can't imagine anything worth a poop for $4.99 or less (forget about the 99 cent titles) being available. If anyone has more luck, post. Bets are the success stories will be few and far between.

I ran into two other guys at those Best Buys who were carrying around the CAG list and who were pretty nice. I passed on a few titles to them, and they shared their knowledge with me. I felt kind of bad for the scraggly rawk dude who just wanted Xbox Live titles. There were NONE for him under the $9.99 price point.

I'll check the CAG forums, but I bet there will be alot of complaints about that list.

Magic The Gathering, Mr. Driller and one of the Silent Hill 4s from my BB stash is up for trade. They are also being offered to the CAGs as we speak! Let the PMs begin, and I'm taking reasonable trades only here.

Also, while I'm at it, throw in my sealed copies of Mechassault 2: Lone Wolf (non-limited ed., XB), Hitman: Contracts (non PH, XB) and Gladius (GC) for trade here too.

I'm specifically looking for Final Fantasy I & II (GBA), Y's (PS2), Growlanser (PS2), Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past (GBA) and Sega Superstars (PS2), although I will consider other titles that I don't own.

I'm not looking for money here. I can get that when I return the untraded games at the end of the week...
