While bargain shopping with the wife, not even looking for games, we went to a dollar store called "Deals." It was the biggest dollar store I've ever seen. While looking at all the usual crap, I was shocked to find shelves filled with sealed classic games. There were many titles for the Genesis, Game Gear and Dreamcast, all $1. The Genesis games were all sports and the one Dreamcast game was NFL 2K. But the game gear selection wasnt bad, though mostly Majesco rereleases. I thought if any one was familiar with this chain they may be curious to see what if anythign their store got. I picke dup a bunch of Game Gear titles.

Spinball was the only sealed Sonic Game Gear game near me. I also picked up Alladin and Lion King, as well as Ceasars Palace and Ms. PacMan. I looked pretty throroughly and dint see any others, but I'm guessing that stock varies by location at these stores. My Theory was that these were Toys R Us or Kay B Toys rejects, but thats just a gamble. all the items were sega, so maybe there was a wharehouse stock pucrchase. Who knows, but I got 5 brand new games for $5.30

Did you hit the one at Broadview and Pleasant Valley? If so, would it be worth my time to go out there myself? (Or did you grab all the stuffs? :eek 2: )
No, medina. They have a lot of lion king and one each of the other 2 left.

The Deals in Darrien, IL , at least on 9/16/05, has no console or portable games, only old PC stuff.
They do have some GBA accessories. I picked up a desk stand/holder that works great with my NGPC.

Man this kind of stuff kicks ass... Unfortunatly there are no "Deals" stores near me. Or at least I have never come across one before. I would be all over some 1$ complete games :)

The only one near me that sounds like this chain is:
"Dollar Deals"
I may go check by it today as it won't be far from my target objective. If they have old pc games, I'm all over that shit. ;D!
