OK, I have a US version Sealed MAXI 15... it is in a large Yellow box, I have only seen mine and have never seen another. Does anyone have one, or has anyone ever seen one???

Just trying to figure out how rare a sealed version is... I have only seen one other boxed one.

Well what do yall think??

Its gotta be pretty freaking rare. The cart itself is one of the higher-end NES games.
I've actually never seen a box for one, so a sealed one should be quite rare. ;)

I'd say a sa sealed one would get you roughly a hundred.

I remember TheRedEye sold one of those on Ebay long time ago. I dont remember if it was sealed or if it was a yellow box (not sure if there are variations). Think it went for $150 - $200

If you have the Death Race/Blackjack version then I would say it is OMGWTFBBQ rare. I have the yellow box for the more common Double Strike/Pyramid version, but I've never seen the yellow box for the other one. If you do have the more scarce one, please post a pic.

There was a factory sealed US Maxi-15 on eBay a month or two ago...minimum bid was a flat 100 dollars, yet IIRC nobody bid on it.

I would say...it is roughly as rare as this sight:

*pulls down trousers, procedes to bend over, gently spreads buttocks and out comes a samba version of the theme from Fragglerock*

In other words: great game you've got there, kiddo!

I have the sealed US version (non deathrace) without the yellow box,it has a printed card instead. had 2 at one point.

The yellow box non-hes version, back in 98-2002 when i was really collecting nes seemed to come mostly from canadian sellers or norhwestern states

all others non yellow box were always from the rest of the US

at one point it seemed the yellow box version was harder to find, but it seems that is no longer the case

I just took a pic of one the other day and posted for a friend in his room of doom pics. He doesn't hang out in the forums here. It is quite rare- I definitely agree with the price range of at least 200 but then again it just depends on who is looking for it and what they are willing to pay.
Check out the pic- page 1 of the game rooms- he is "videogames" it is in the nested album with the SNES bike picture on the front.

I dunno... I've seen quite a few sealed Maxi 15's listed over the last few years, I don't think I've seen one break 50 bucks. It's like cheetahmen 2 in the sense that there a fair number of sealed ones out there compared to the overall print run.

The seller listed it twice at 100, no takers. dropped the price to 60 and it sold for 75 i think. I would have grabbed it, but didn't want to deal with a money order to canada.

i think it's worth about $80 for either version. i have the clamshell version sealed and i lost a few auctions for the sealed non-hes boxed version.

To answer the initial question "how rare is a sealed maxi 15?"

Not rare at all! I see them Sealed at gamestop and ebgames ALL the time! They were stacked up next to some SMB/DH carts for a dollar. I didn't buy any cause I'm sick of seeing them gathering dust at flea markets and game stores.

Hmmmm, if you bought 10 of these for a dollar and sold them for 75 each on ebay, that seems like a profit of $740 to me. And you didn't buy them all up why?

Wait was that sarcasm? If so, lol, gotcha, heh heh.

Erm, well selling them is one good reason. Another is to historically preserve them. I'm sure you could see the value in say, 50 years of a sealed game. Basically, it makes them more valuable. To whoever says "no" to that, ask all the collectors who pay more for sealed copies.
