Just picked an MN-740 wireless xbox adaptor up for $50 CDN, but of course I JUST cancelled my XBOX Live account. I want to get the gold package with the 360, but will it work with the 360?
I heard it WILL work, but I just want to make sure because I haven't opened it yet.

Good question. It's esentially just a wifi bridge so it should work, but i don't know about configuring it.

I was reading the "Offical Xbox 360" pre-launch/whatever magazine, which had an in-depth FAQ in it, and the same question was posed there. The answer was YES, you can use your current wireless adapter for the 360, just plug it into the LAN port like the current Xbox.
The adapter can only be configured using the original Xbox though, but once it's configured, that's it, you're good to go until you need to change any settings on the adapter.
It's a damn good thing you can use it too, because that thing costs $100 as does the one for the 360.

That just seems a bit ridiculous to me... am I alone on this?
My home wifi network is all Microsoft, so hopefully I shouldn't have any problems getting this stuff to work.
