i thought it was somewhat interesting - seemed biased towards "gameing is bad" but nicely done none the less - especialy when the conclusion seems to reverse the introductory opinions.
here it is - for interested parties
edit : i forgot to mention it is kind of old - i found it looking for medical related studies

Article seemed to be an interesting read. Not sure about anyone else, but when I see mistakes like this:
"Mario, Sonic and Crash Bandycoot are as familiar as Mickey, Donald and Bugs were in previous generations."
then I instantly have no regard for the article. It reminds me of article around the Christman season a few years back when the Xbox/GameCube first came out. The writer of the article wrote about how nice of a fighter Dead On Arrival was for the Xbox. Little tidbits like that make me think they don't do enough research/proofreading.

yea i noticed that
what also buged me was when he said that video game systems are more powerfull than engineering workstations - i felt he was just makeing crap up there - he must have never looked at what those workstations have to crunch
my gues is he knew someone that only used some old form of autoCAD lite -- you dont need a powerfull computer for that and i wouldnt qualify a pc only running that an engineering workstation
but puting those mistakes aside - i think he did a decent job making a formal inquiry into gameing
for those of you that havent looked at it - this was done during the n64 days (i think he mentioned the n64)
