Never Really got into the NES

So, I was never really into the NES as a kid and I have never collected for it. However, now that I have a GBA with a Flash Linker, I have loaded the NES emulator and I am wondering what adventure game I should start playing...

I'm thinking of Castlevania 1 or 2—anyone have any other recommendations?

Also, does anyone have any info on the 2600 emu for the GBA that someone was working on a while back?

Play Mario 3 first. One of my top 5 games ever. Simply a classic and I think the game I most wanted and most played when I was a kid.

I agree with Buttasuperb. Mario 3 is a great game with plenty of fun secrets to keep you playing.

And, you can never go wrong with the first Zelda.
