Was that a Mad Katz controller?
Because that deserved to die. How is Mad Katz still around, anyway?
I have a video around here somewhere of some kids destroying a Gamecube..lemme see if I can dig it up.

PSP getting smashed by some Japanese kids. (http://www.dontpressstart.com/upload/video/psp_smash.mpeg) (15.8 MB)
This was from way back when the PSP just launched in Jay-pan. The subtitles are god-awful, so if someone has a clean version of this, I'd be interested in having a copy. Many thanx.

^ LOL, so when they put it back in the box, were they planning to return it for a refund?
Also, I was surprised it held together for so long.

I posted a video of my friend setting a gamecube on fire (and damn did it go up in flames). Im too lazy to find the topic, but all I know is the topic got flamed to hell (no pun intended).
Many people called him a anti-nintendo person, but it ends up hes one of the biggest nintendo fanboys I know. Not to mention he has 17,000 posts on the nintendo.com forums... go figure.

Someone should make a video of setting there Sony system down gently and it breaking. It's realistic if not exciting.

What I'm waiting for is to see a burning Xbox...
Me: WOOOOOOOO! BBQed Xbox!
Xbox Fanboy: OMGWTFBBQ! Exbocks pwns, you n00b!
Why would anyone want to destroy a perfectly good piece of electrical equipment? Unless it was damaged beyond repair of course. Or unless you just want to show everyone that you've got a big penis, like that guy with the sledgehammer is trying to do. LOL

I really don't get the attraction to any of this. I guess I'm just not one who likes to throw away money.

I sense the beginings of a fad.
I'd say a pointless fad, but that would just seem redundent.

I am shocked and amazed at how long it took to smash that PSP. Especially since they ran over it. But I bet that despite holding together well, I bet that it stopped working after being smashed off the asphalt. I mean, look at the X-Play video when "Morgan Von Vebb" was putting the three through the rigors, PS2 held together but wouldn't even turn on!
But man, MAD kudos to Nintendo's solid craftsmanship. It beat out the XBox, a much larger and solid system. I thought it was all over when she smacked them both with a sledgehammer and the GC went halfway across the room and the XBox went 2 feet. But even Microsoft's Hulk isn't indestructable, the fatal "devil's drop" proved to be the XB's demise when it's entire front popped off. The rest of it remained solid though. And the GC, broken top and all, still turned on. Also, the video where they DRAGGED a Cube behind a speeding vehicle and it still played.
This also reminds me of the original GameBoy on display in Nintendo World in Rockefeller Center. It survived a shell blast in the Gulf War and is all charred up and still works perfectly. I tell customers about that all the time when I tell them how dependable and well-built Nintendo products are. I am going to have to add this info now too.
I would like to do similar tests, but I don't have the money to replace the unlucky systems so poo on that. Mad props to those who are bold (or dumb) enough to destroy their perfectly good systems

Word for what what I thought when I read the review title.
I'll be crying myself to sleep on my Nintendo pillows tonight... and I'm too much of a pussy to even watch the video.
OK... I'm just too lazy - but from the responses I'm not surprised that the Nintendo products hold up well. At the Target I work at we've gone through no less than 10 PS2's and Xbox systems. We've had the same GameCube since it came out.

I thinnk its a rahter a shame. Considering millions of people who don't have enough money to buy food, let enough get their children some expensive luxury toy.
People who do this rather show their immaturity.

The systems in question might not have been theirs in the first place. They might not even be working to begin with.
