Well thinking about it I think they have settled there differences over time i mean i read that Nintendo was the first to accept Sega as a Third party so,i want to hear you opinion are they buds are still moral enemys. Or do they out up with each other?

I think it's safe to say they've made up and are best buddies now.
What I wold like to see is a joint venture between the two character worlds. Maybe some epic multi-character multi-storyline Sonic/Mario game in which some evil villain (Either some new baddie or maybe a teamup between Robotnik--er Eggman and Bowser.) does something really evil and tries to destroy both the Sonic universe and the Mario universe with some big evil machine. What would be cool is if the machine could somehow merge the two worlds and some levels could be like a mashup of Mario elements and Sonic elements. Imagine Mario picking up Rings. Or Sonic stomping Goombas. Oh teh noes!!!1
Yeah.. that would be sweet.
Or maybe just Sonic and Knuckles in Super Smash Bros 3. I'd settle for that.
