As much of a dog as I think the first one is, haven't played the second yet (I have it though), I sure hope by conclusion they mean no more Shion and company rather than end of the series. Frankly, there hasn't been an RPG cast that I've wanted to see punted out an airlock more, but I'm going to feel really cheated if it turns out that they finish it without ever getting close to talking about the world in Xenogears.

I don't think the characeters in, XS will be in it untile the end.
