SEGA cdx question

How much is a Sega cdx worth in the video game market.....I saw one the other day at a pawn shop for $150.00 with no hook ups/controllers/games/etc.......I would like to get one of these but I think it was overpriced but I could be wrong.......also how rare are these......I have only seen 1 of these in the wild but I have seen a bunch on ebay but never really knew how much they are really worth.......thanks in advance

I think they're worth around 70 bucks by themselves. That's how much my friend and I paid for our respective ones, at least.

$70 in the wild would be a good price. Have stalked these on ebay many a time and have found that they tend to go for over $100 unless you get lucky. $150 would be a good price if it was complete and in the original box, or if it' the Mega version...I like the X'eye better myself...no real reason.

Hmm I bought mine on ebay, with toejam and earl 1, for 60 dollars. So dont pay that much!

The most I´d pay for a lose cdx is $70...

Ask the guy what comes with it.

Sometimes all the stuff is in back ...you never know.

$150 is high for a COMPLETE CDX. I'd say not over $100 for one, complete, no box.

I got mine for $100 with all hookups, 1 controller, and 8 games for reference.

$150 way too high for a bare system.

I got mine, bare system, for $10 from some kid who was trying to trade it in at a Gamestop, lol.

He had left a game inside too. Luckily for me, it was Third World War, which is fairly rare, and which I sold for like $30 disc-only. Sold the CDX for $80 after I pieced together cords for it.

I paid about $160 (2 years ago) for my CDX - it had no box, but other than that it was brand spankin, never used, new - came with 1 controller and the hookups and about 20 (CD) games.

I sell them with all cords and controller for $150 Canadian.

A friend of mine gave me his years ago. Still have it since and works great for Sega CD and Genesis. :)
