I REALLY hate making a topic like this, but I can't find this issue addressed anywhere online, and it's bugging the HELL out of me.

Anyways, I'm at the end where the Prince throws Kaileena into the Time Portal, you know, directly before the last boss battle. Anyway, all indication in the game and online FAQs show that all I need to do is step into the Time Portal and go fight Kaileena.

Thing is, when I step into the portal, I don't get transported. I've reset and reloaded the save at least 10 times, I'm not going into the Time Portal!

So, am I doing something wrong or is this indeed a massive glitch? Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if it is a glitch, because some of the things I've encountered glitch-wise in this game have been amazing, this game is not polished whatsoever.

Sorry this doesn't help, but I feel part of your pain. I LOVED Sands of Time and went into this one with very high hopes, only to have those hopes dunked in the Hot Topic goth-tank and full of unnecessary fighting all the time (the fighting was the worst part of SoT, and by adding more of it in the sequel they did fans a great disservice).

I feel kinda the same way, the fighting in this was extremely tedious and boring, plus the BACKTRACKING was excessive and since you spend the entire time in one castle, you don't even feel like you've advanced anywhere. Overall, the experience wasn't that great, I'd give it a 3 out of 5, but nothing more.

I could handle the upped violence/blood/gothness of it, I didn't like it, but it didn't deter me from playing. I just loved Sands Of Time a WHOLE lot, and this one....I just want to complete it and be done with it.

oh man game was a total disapointment but it had it's moments what about when your running along the wall and you slash that ninja lady

but overall it was hype, laziness and an incomplete product
6/10 imho

SOT was much better a sterling effort I don't trust UBI anymore I'm sure they've been bought out by EA secretly has anyone played COLD FEAR yet? Don't!?

It's starts off well just like WW but then degenerates into total trash... bleh 4/10 I didn't even bother finishing it straight to the pawn shop bleh :(

I loved both SoT and WW. I beaten SoT and almost WW. I gave up on the dragonboss hehe. Couldnt make it without dying and it slowly generate life so you have to be fairly quick to kill it before it gets full health again.

I don't know what's going on. I won it on the xbox twice (theres two endings if you didnt know, depending on whether or not you got the water sword). As you said, you should just be able to walk into the portal and go on to the boss fight. With no water sword you will fight Kaileena, if you found all the health tanks and obtained the water sword, you will fight Dahaka and get the better ending. Also I have read it is the water sword ending that is continued in Prince of Persia 3, when it is released.

P.S. Yes, Sands of time was better, but the ending of Warrior Within left me too curious about the third game not pick up when it arrives.

Figured that was all I do, well, I guess I can't finish the game. That's bullshit really, I mean, what kind of company puts out a game that's so full of glitches that you can't even complete it!

I just hope they do something different with the 3rd one, you know, like have competent people Beta Test it.
