It's already been noted in the Collecter Guides and Rarity Database forum, but for those who missed the announcement, the Online Rarity Guide (http://www.digitpress.com/DP/cmf/search.cmf) is back online!

Anyone who missed the online rarity guide should donate some meseta to SpasticFuctard (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/cash.php?mode=donate&ref=viewtopic&u=2822&p=796240) with a thank you note attached for fixing the guide!

Other features returning as soon as possible. Thank you all for your patience.

Awesome. We even have our personal collections back. I was worried that they'd all have to be re-entered.

I just tried to access the online rarity guide and got this:

I'm guessing it might have to do with the hacking mentioned in this thread (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=70782). x_x

Same thing here. I should add that I could not even access DP forums for the last hour until a few minutes ago. Another hack, or just maintenance?

Great to see the guide back up :)

A question, what category are RPGs listed as?
I wanted to see all RPGs released for PS2, so I selected PS2 and Role-playing-misc/Role-playing and hit search, but I got 0 hits.
Also tried Adventure Misc/Role-playing, then i got 3 titles.

if you refer to the PAL PS2 entries I think NONE of the games has the genre data already added - this will also be a HUGE task for PAL PS1 we have to make before christmas ;)

ok :) I was acctualy just looking for a list of all RPGs that arer released for PS2, both PAL and NTSC. But i see there are many sub-RPG categories, like Suidkoden is listed under Turn-based RPG/Role-playing.

Is it possible to list many sub categories at once?

[edit: see anagramas posting below - i meant somthing else] - i want to avoid to list games in too many subdirectories for PAL PS1 & PS2 just because of your beforementioned reason. keep tuned - the good stuff is coming :D

Yes. Hold CTRL while you're selecting the categories in the Style/Genre table.

you have to list them with the genres they ARE not something else because it's maybe a little bit easier to search for them

lol, sorry, but you HAVE to do it that way, either NO genre, or the correct one

and btw, i have ~1200 entries on my lists too

BTW, Hydr0x - can you PM me the appropriate codes for the genres as I don't have them yet.

Make you you get the most up-to-date one aswell - last time I was adding the genres in I noticed that there were a couple of extra ones that weren't mentioned in my original file.

i can't pm you the list as it's an excel file, ask Joe for it or email me hydr0xATgmx.net

i'm not 100% sure i have the latest version, but i think so (of course even that version is lacking some needed genres, i guess after Joe has settled with his store we should try to update it !)

Speak for yourself. I just got back a few days ago after a couple months' absence, and my list is gone.
