Nes pal to us convertor or action replay?

Well.
I bought PAL Holland NES a few months ago. And unfortunately did not know that they have regional protection.. (what a dumb ass). Now i cannot play US games on a PAL nes.It's blinking(not because it's a pin problem) :P
Is there any kind of action replay for nes? I checked ebay but found none.
I also found a webpage showing many convertors but i still do not know where to buy one x_x
Any help here?

I believeif you cut one pin on one chip on the board, it will be region free....about as simple as mods get.

This is true. I do not remember where exactly the chip is our what its for, but i do remember a little about this method of region moding a NES. I believe I remember hearing that you just have to open and disassemble the NES, find a chip - should be the only chip - that says Nintendo on it, then you cut, i believe it was, the 4th wire from the left.

PLEASE!!! Do NOT Attempth This untill you have goten word from some one who knows For Sure what they are talking about and/or has done this themselves! I am just telling you what i think i remeber hearing. After knowing what wire to cut for sure, this is a very easy mod. I have even heard rummors that it helps to basicly somewhat overclok the system to very slightly increase the processing power. I have never attempted to region mod my NES however as i have never seen the need.

Pins tend to start from the little notch or circle on the chip and go counter-clockwise.

Very easy to do.

The chip is on the mainboard, you need to remove the outer casing of the NES, then remove the metal shield, disassemble the cartridge loading mechanism to get at the actual board.

I think the legs should be numbered or something, in any case, if your having real difficulty finding / locating the correct leg, send me a PM and I will try and get a picture for you and post it here.

When you cut the leg, you need to make sure that the top part of the leg is bent upwards a bit to make sure that they are definitly not connecting at all. Even better check for continuity with a multimeter set to 1000 ohm. If the value is 0.01 then they are still connected, if the value is 1 then they are not connected and the job's done!

Games load fine. Now i can finally play Final Fantasy! :P

However i almost destroyed the chip itself.This is pretty hard to cut that pin. It's so damn small, it breakes no matter what!

Great you succeeded,only thing is that Final Fantasy has a scroll problem with our PAL NESses,you can't read everything the characters in the game say to you.Just for this problem i wanna buy an NTSC NES,for once i would like to beat that game in a normal way.

Yep i also wanted a US NES,but i spent too much cash on this brand-new PAL Challenge Set so that i kinda didn't want to sell it :P
It's damn hard to buy boxed working NES here.It's even hard to buy NES whatever NES itself :P

you can cut the pins on eather side of pin 4 and the nes will still work, dont go mad and cut too many others though or youll have to bug me for my chipless universal nes mod i worked out.
