Arcadia 2001 won't read games at all.

Just got a spare Arcadia off of Ebay in a lot, and need to get it working because I want to try to resell it. I thought that the cart slot was just dirty I cleaned it and even sanded it lightly but it wouldn't read a cart, then I turned the console on without a game in it and I got the same screen, my games work fine on my other console but this one won't read a game. Does anyone know if there is a way to test this and see if it can be fixed? If I can't fix it I won't freak out but I wanted some extra cash. I bought the lot for Red Clash anyway.

Sounds like you got a lemon. About the only thing to do is clean it really good. If that fails, it is probably a component issue - which is not really worth trying to fix...
