I'm looking at buying one of these )http://www.gamegizmo.com/products.php?sysID=9&catID=4&pID=689
(but not from that link)

I know it's cheap third party one. Anyone have one? I can't find original SEGA ones (in my price range) anywhere. Can anyone tell me if these at least work? Are SEGA ones that much better?

While your at it it, any opinions about third party Saturn memory cards (RAM and Backup)? I need one of those too, and the real SEGA ones seem like a white elephant. I don't need import functionality as my Saturn has the region switch mod. I already know about the Interact "memory Card Plus" ones being crap. I got one in a lot of games, and it is totally non functional with my version saturn, and from what I've read about it, I should be glad of it. :/

I'm looking at placing an order from one of those HK importers, but I'd like to get all my oddball stuff all at once, and keep my shipping decent. Any tips on what third party stuff is OK, and what is not?

Thank You!

Go with the first party multitaps for saturn. There more reliable then third party ones.As for the third party memory cards,I haven't had a problem with the interact one at all.

I've got an offical Sega multitap and also a Blaze multitap formy Saturn, and I have never had any problem with either of them. In fact the only multitaps I have ever had trouble with are the official Sony Playstation ones (crappy little things!! >:( )

As for Memory carts, I don't know much about them, but I have used the memory facility on my AR 4-in-1 cart for ages and not ever had any trouble with it.

yeah, I'm very seriously looking at a Blaze one. I can't find a SEGA one to save my life, at a reasonable price. I figure if I order one from Lan Kwei, I might as well get a couple of other things too, to make the shipping worth it. I'm considering a Gun so I can play my Virtua Cop, and of course some kind of memory card.

that helps Vroom, thanks!

I've had my action replay 4+1 for over 6 years now, and it still hasn't lost a save. Get one.
