Very nice. Mostly the SH:FTNW release, but you Wild Arms fans can go ahead and rejoice, too.

A new company is handling the localization, XSEED. Checking the corporate info here (http://www.xseedmarketing.com/the_team.html), it sounds like the makings of a third console RPG juggernaut; we'll see how this pans out.

I'll be buying both of those for SURE!

BTW...was Wild ARMs: Alter Code F ever released domestically???

Geez, I like RPGs, but the flow of RPGs for the PS2 is almost too much. Radiata Stories, Romancing Saga, soon Dragon Quest VIII, and now these announcements.

At the end of its lifecycle the PS2 might get even more RPGs than the PS1. (around 70-80)

Shadow Hearts 3? Sounds damn good to me!! I think 2 is the best RPG I've played on the PS2. Just a damn fine game. I'll be picking it up without a doubt! Wild Arms series I've never tried but the one screenshot looked pretty.

Yay. 8-) Passing on this wonderful news to my boyfriend via text message as I speak... er, type. A big Shadow Hearts fan, he is.
I'm also pleased that SH3 is coming to the U.S. More originality needs to be in RPGs. One less amnesiac hero makes me smile.

YES I have the original Shadow Hearts and cannot wait to pick up both 2 and NOW 3.

Itll take me years to collect all the RPGs for my PS2 not to mention all the other hundreds of titles just waiting to be snatched up.

It's supposedly coming out next month sometime.

Anyways, yeah. Awesome news. Now I just need the word on Grandia 3.

Max, don't worry. I have information (can't revel the source) that the first effort to translate the remake of Wild Arms....well, how can I put this.....sucked. LOL So it was thrown out and started over again, which of course delays things. It's still on the list at EB and Gamestop for a release next month, one that SHOULD be met this time.

I counted the RPGs I have for the PS2 so far - - 45; and this doesn't include games which didn't drop in price or were recently released.

From the 'older' ones I still need Dual Hearts, Tsugunai Atonement, Ephemeral Fantasia, King's Field, and Okage.

...and then we complain that for 'hardcore' gamers not enough games are released, everything is tailored towards the 'mainstream,' and there aren't enough options for us gamers. :)

RPGs aren't bestsellers compared to sports titles and FPSs, but they are profitable enough to publish a number of games which could give you a headache and a walletache.

Great news, but I hope they keep the dark horror like theme like shadow hearts one.
I am not a huge fan of wild arms, I only played they first, but I am interested in alter code f.
