What game did they offer to you? Kung Fu Master? Yie Ar Kung Fu?

There's really not a perfect way to gauge the price, but if you have pictures of it, that would help.

If it's an original dedicated machine with the proper bezel, control panel overlay, controls, marquee and side art and everything works, etc. then $200 is definitely reasonable.

If it's a kit in some random cabinet that's in rough shape, it needs repairs, etc., then there's probably too much to take into consideration without seeing it. If you can post pictures, we'll be able to offer more help. :)

Thanx for your reply, well i haven't got pics unfrotunatly,he told me about it yesterday. It's the Kung-Fu Master cabinet, i though it was the NES version arcade, but it doesn't seem to exist since that's a port of Kung-Fu Master.
So it's a cabinet with everything on it,it is a wooden one and all works fine the guy says,i have to check it all out though first before i even think about buying. So what ya think?Worthy or not?

I'd say it's worth it if you really like Kung-Fu Master. I'd have to see pictures of it first to see the condition. It's not a particularly rare or valuable game, but even junkers seem to be steadily climbing in price. The stuff I could get for $100 a few years ago seem to be going for $200-$300. Sometimes I wonder if the days of the $100 game are gone.

Also on the price, one thing I always take into consideration is how much of a pain in the ass is it going to be to get it. I'd pay $50-$100 more for a game that's "in my neighborhood" that I could check out in advance and easily transport. In other words, I'd rather pay $200 Kung-Fu Master in my neighborhood that I could check out in person than $100 for a Kung-Fu Master off of eBay that's several hours away and I've never seen up close before.

So, eh. If you like the game and everything works, I'd probably do it. Then again, I do it far too often.

Yeah man your right about that,i am gonna check this dude soon and make some pics and see how it works.

I've liked the game since i was a kid and playing it in the arcades endlessly, the simplicity of the game just totally rocks, just walk and hit, although it's not mega easy to beat.
Almost everyone knows the game and would love to play it when being at my place,so it would be fun to have, plus for me it's something nostalgic.
