n64 jumper pak??

Hello,
I have a couple n64 consoles that I picked up without a jump paks. Is there any easy way to get around it and make the system work?? I am not exactly good at electronics, but I would give it a shot since the alternative would be to dump the consoles. Before it is suggested, I know the memory expansion pak works, but I don't want to put more money into them considering the exp pak is worth about as much as the console itself.

Sure, just find some ram packs. Not only are they an upgrade, but they are usually pretty cheap.

nintendo still sells jumper packs on its website, for $4 a piece, I think. I know they still sell them, I'm just not sure about the price.
