Has anyone else played the demo for this yet? MAJOR improvement over the monotony of the first 2. Plus the new graphcs engne isn't too shabby.

I hope they keep the budget price for this game, cause I'm definately getting this one. There is nothing I love more in a game than absolute chaos.

I liked serious sam before it was all about getting points and shit, but this is pretty fun. If there is one thing SS does well, is mindless fun killing. Dosn't run too well on my compy.

General opinion from around the internet is that its dissapointing. Slower pace, smaller areas. And it is obviously a port of the xbox version (smaller FOV, poor interface, AND THERE ARE XBOXES AND XBOX CONTROLLERS IN THE MULTIPLAYER MENU)

of course this is the demo and the level was (hopefully) a small chunk of a bigger one.

The game runs beautifully smooth and looks great. As far as gameplay goes, it's really frantic and fun, but alas a bit disappointing. The only thing that makes me really dislike it is Sam's run speed. Way too slow. It was also really easy to bunny hop around in the first game, but jumping in this one kinda stops you. Other than that, it's still pretty damn sweet, and the vehicle segment at the end was great.

Am dl'ing right now! I love the SS games. I just like the oldschool style of play with modern twists and great graphics.
Looking forward to it....
