This whole thing is probably just a typo somewhere along the line, but it's bugging the crap out of me, so here it is: I recently bought an SMS with one controller (the rare kind with the little joystick that doesn't screw in) from a friend. It came with the 3D glasses (with one side taped up) and Hang On/Sarari Hunt, among some other assorted games, but it didn't have a "featured" built in game (it just has the snail maze game). He said he used to have the light phaser for it, but it broke I have the Digital Press Collector's Guide (seventh edition), and found that the model numbers for all the types of SMS systems are #3005, #3000, #3006, and #3001 while my SMS's number is #3010! Is this a harmless typo or a major discovery?

I do not know much about SMS stuff but mine is 3010-A... so I am guessing typo...

I too have a master system with the snail maze game built in and the model # is 3010

Yup, I fixed that myself a few months ago. There are many other "innacuracies" in the DP guide 7 that have since been corrected.

I still need to track down Clint Dyer (known to me as "captain non-fact checker") to discuss his "prototype" entry.

Raccoon Laddy, have you ever been able to reach Clint Dyer? He seems to be dropped off the face of the earth. Let me know.
