contest: 1000 meseta to the best game room!

i have 1000 meseta im not using, so i figured id have a contest. there are only two rules.

1. dont vote for yourself. votes for yourself will not be counted.

2. place the username of the person you are voting for first, then explain why you picked them if necessary. it will be much easier to count them up if the username is the first thing in the post.

ill leave the contest open until midnite of next friday, and votes after that will not be included in the tally.

the link to the collectors photos is below. you can guage your vote on who has the most games, best games, dirtiest room, most cluttered - i dont really care why you vote for them, but the person with the most votes gets 1000+ meseta. ill include whatever i make off of this in their winnings too!

not to take anything away from joe or alanD, but why would anyone vote for joe? he has the best collection hands down, and doesnt need the acclaim from it.

alanD has one photo of a wall of games. though that is pretty much how my room is set up, there are much cooler rooms in the photos. so they dont have as many games...but they are better arranged, and seem to care more about showing their stuff(as evidenced by two or more photos).

i think VG_maniacs room is pretty cool, NESVIDIOTs set up is nice...thats from the first 2 pages.

the idea here wasnt 'who has the most games, ill give them meseta'...we already know who has the most games....its who has the best game room in your opinion.
thought it would be a fun contest, guess its not worth the time to look at the pics and vote. ah well.

I'll vote for Dangerboy, I just noticed his the other day and I like it, especially the complete turbografx/duo collection. Anyone who has one of those has an awesome collection in my opinion.

As my understanding of it goes, the contest isn't about who has the biggest room or most games, it is about who has gone to the most effort to make the room "Cool".

You can have nothing but a bar, PS2, and projector in it, and could win. Or, you could just display your stuff (As some have done) using shop shelves to make the room look like a game store, which I think is pretty damn cool!

I have to be stealthy since I live in a tiny studio loft and I don't want potential romantic conquests to know that I am a complete and total nerb with a borderline obsessive-compulsive disorder. They'll find out soon enough. Some people have skeletons in the closet... I have skeletons under the mattress!

Seriously, though, I'm thinking either Adol or stealthlurker as well, though I am an import-appreciator and therefore biased. Maybe it should be broken down into categories!

No offense taken at all about the comments. I had a few more photos taken in the old gallery and never bothered posting more in the new. I do agree that there are people with much more impressive looking collections and much better decorating schemes. I am unfortunately saddled with one small room to put my collection so it is really hard to do much more than store it there. If it wasn't for talking my wife out of room in the attic I'd have let about half the collection go already for lack of room.

Thanks for the Shout out :) I actually need to update my pics as theyre quite old now :) So hopefully they will be better than before ;)

However i think there are lots more deserving people than me, as i only have the one room and its cramped due to the fact i live in there too ;)

Thanks,i'll try when i have time to make pictures of the rest of my collection,because i basically showed only 50% of it...it still needs Complete Game Gear,Dreamcast, actory Sealed Lynx & Jaguar collections,as well as hundreds of Saturn,PSOne,PS2,MSX,Marty,Laseractive,PC 88/98, X68000,GB,GBA,DS,PSP,Gamecube,XBOX Japanese games...

and the most voluminous part: all the hardware! :)

And i owned complete Game&Watch collection,as well as complete Neo Geo Home Cart collction,but i had to sell those,for paying the other ones :)
(they were VERY valuable)
