I'm torn between Shinobi, which is the best ninja game, and the Ninja Warriors which was such an awesome cabinet (with its three screens). I guess, I'd still give the title to Shinobi.
Anyone else?

Shinobi and Ninja Warriors I'd say. Yet I voted Ninja Warriors, because it had that really kickass monitor

TMNT. 'nuff said :)
I own the board for Bad Dudes vs. Dragon Ninja, and I used to own the cabinet for it. That's a great game too, but the only ninja game I ever spent enough on to actually beat was Turtles.
Shinobi, obviously.
I still can't believe how terrible Ninja Gaiden is.

Heh, that'd be my choice hands down, were it on here. From the list provided, I chose TMNT, of which I have many fond memories of, particularly of the NES port (named TMNT II because of the original TMNT NES game, of course). I tell ya, you deserve a pat on the back for taking down Krang... then in comes Shredder with his damn cheapo-shrinko ray. :bad-words:

I third the vote for Strider, but since it wasn't on there, I chose Shinobi. And why exactly is Shadow Dancer missing from this poll?

MAWS says that Strider is a ninja-style warrior, so I wasn't sure if I should include it or not. Same with Legend of Kage.
Shadow Dancer isn't in the poll because I considered it a sequel to Shinobi. I also didn't add every game from the TMNT series for same reason.

I rather liked it - in fact that was my vote, although I know it as Shadow Warriors.

Think I've only even HEARD of 3-4 of those, and I'd def. have to pick shinobi like most others.

I remember in Shinobi when I discovered how to get through those buddha statues that you're supposed to kill by just using my ninja magic, that was awesome. I wonder if I can still do it?

Heh, you might as well add it. Strider Hiryu is certainly more a ninja than the Bad Dudes. LOL

Do you know by chance what game Strider Hien is from? I remember I made a Mugen game and put him in and he has a different moneset than Hiryu.

Hmmm....not too sure, actually. Could your Strider Hien be someone's reworking of Hiyru? Like Evil Ken, etc.

As far as I know, the only game that Strider Hien has been in so far is Strider 2. He originated from the Strider manga, I believe.

I don't recall ever hearing about Hien being in the manga. I think he was an original creation for Strider 2.
The NES game, on the other hand - based on the manga.
