View Full Version : The DS is gonna leave my wallet dry these comming weeks.
9/26 - Trace Memory DS
9/27 - Lost in Blue
9/27 - Lunar: Dragon Song
10/04 - Castlevania
10/04 - Tramua Center: Under the Knife
10/11 - Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney
10/24 - Metroid Prime Pinball
10/25 - Real Time Conflict
I know these games have been talked about on this board before, but all these game seem to be comming out in less than a month. That's over 250 dollars I'm gonna spend this month on games. Is anyone else planning on getting these games?

Its times like this I'm glad I said "no" to myself when I said "I am going to get a complete DS collection." Thats alot of money to spend on DS games. Lost in Blue will definitely be worth it, but I don't know about the others.

You know Castlevania will be worth it and so will Lunar. I'm gonna get Tramua Center because it looks so inovative.

Fuck man they're all worth it, well maybe no Metroid Pinball, but don't forget Phoniex Wright. It looks just as cool as Trauma Centre so it needs your money.
You know it's time like these that make me so glad a i said "fuck you" to Sony and bought a DS instead. This is the best handheld lineup i've seen in years and everyone of those game appears to use the DS to it's fullest.

At least I'm not alone. I have DS disease. I will buy all of those, and Dig Dug Digging Strike and Whac A Mole too, when they come out. Wallet = empty.

Trace Memory and Phoenix Wright already own here (the Japanese version comes with English option!) so not quite so bad for me... but I'll be getting Lost in Blue and Under the Knife, and possibly Lunar and Castlevania.

Yeah, I'm getting the first six games on that list -- not the last two.
It ALWAYS takes a year or so for GOOD games to come out for a system. Well, the DS has been out for around a year now, so the good games are coming out for it.
Good thing, because right now I only have two DS games -- Sprung and Nintendogs.
Give the PSP time and once it hits the one year mark it will have the 'good' games come out for it also. Right now I only have three games for mine. Good thing I can use it for so many other things. :)

I love RTS games so I will be getting Conflict. I hope it's something like Age of the Empires. I was not going to get Metroid Pinball, but according to all the sources I've heard it's gonna be a hell of a pinball game.

Wow, you guys are all interested in every one of those games? Not a single one jumps out at me and says "Hey you gotta buy me before a minimum of 2 price drops!".

Not even Castlevania or Trauma Centre? I'm really suprised because to me they look absolutely amazing.

The games are only $30. In that list of six games, you have two adventure games (hard to find these days), a RPG (first for the system), a simulation game (also hard to find these days), a simulation/adventure game that promises to do both well, and a action/RPG game sequel to the best Castlevania game on the GBA, IMHO. Hell YES, all of them are worth buying new. :D

I've never been a huge Castlevania fan, actually, my favorite Castlevania game is Castlevania 64 and that's only because it's the only one I've put any decent time into. Trauma Center looks like a short and slightly more interactive version of a combination of Sprung and Feel The Magic with the fast paced fun on FTM taken out.

It's awesome how many kick ass games are coming out for it. I'm 100% buying Castlevania the fucken day it arrives, and some of those others I may pick up in the future. It's nice to see the DS getting so many great games. The poor PSP hardly seems to get any new games....all I ever see shipped to my work are the damn movies.

I'll definitely be getting one of those games. Almost all of those I want to try out.
Anyone know the date for that Snowboard Kids game since somebody mentioned it? Hate the new character designs, but whatever.
Don't forget November.

Actually, the only DS games I currently MUST HAVE on release day are Sonic Rush and Animal Crossing.
The other games will be good, I'm not denying that, it's just...well...I can wait for a price drop and play my other games in the meantime.

Just because they don't tickle your pickle doesn't mean they're not good games. I can't stand Madden or RPG's, but that's not saying they're bad games, they're just not my bag.
