You're kind of missing out on the point of a concert...

Totally missed the point altogether, I'd say.
It was just a heads up- I thought people here would be interested.
You don't HAVE to go. I'm almost sorry I brought this up now. Sheesh.

Don't worry, I'm going to the one in Denver. It'll be a good time and I'm looking forward to it.
It doesn't have the allure of the "Dear Friends" shows, but that bastard Uematsu didn't come anywhere near here.
EDIT: Guess I'm not looking forward to it. I just checked, our date was cancelled.

I'd like to check this out when it comes to St. Louis, but I'm not sure I can get anyone to go with me. :(
So if anyone happens to be in the area on November 10, let me know....it's going to be at the Pageant, which is in a fun part of town. Lots to do and a good place to people watch!

Damn. I will be in Chicago the week after for Pinball Expo, and I don't know if I can justify two trips...
I have been aware of this for a while though, and just the fact that Headhunter's music is on the list of things that will be played... well, it makes me want to go :)
GODDAMMIT!!!
Just found out the Twin Cities show is CANCELLED- refunds available at point-of-purchase.
We got our tickets thru the mail. Guess we'll have to make a trip to the Orpheum.
First, last year's Twin Galaxies video games thing at the Mega Mall rotunda cancelled, & now this.
I'm pissed!
Now I see the whole thing is cancelled. :( O_O :hmm:
Any reason why?

Officially, they say it was logistical issues. I.E. they weren't prepared to go national.
However, all signs point to it was REALLY about interest. I guess not enough people want to go to an event like this.
I personally thing they marketed it all wrong. They should have gone for something along the lines of Dear Friends, but they would have needed a strong recognizable name to attach to the project like Uematsu.
I heard a local radio ad this AM for a 4-DAY sex show called "Sex- & something more" or something like that booked at the Mpls Convention Center Nov 17-20.
Meet Ron Jeremy (I wouldnt shake his greasy hand wearing winter gloves!) & some Playboy Playmate models. OOOHH!
Crap like that lasts a 4 DAY WEEKEND & VGLive gets cancelled? x_x

Lousy cancellations...that doesn't necessarily mean that us MN folk can't arrange some sort of gathering.
Ideas, anyone?
