I'd really like to try the game out, so if anyone has a demo to spare I'll pay around $5 for it. Thanks a bunch.

You can just go reserve it for $5 and get the demo ;)
If you don't want it, just put your $5 towards something else.

Gamestop.com isn't offering it, and EB doesn't have it. So I'd have to actually go to my local Gamestop and ask, and well, I used to work there and frankly that store can go fuck it's self.

(:It's a shame your previous work experience with Gamestop was so unfortunate o.O I actually get all my cool extras thanks to my friends I have down at my previous employer - also Gamestop. In fact I went there the other day and got 2 DW VIII demos, Sly 3 Demo, Ratchet: Deadlocked, Hulk Comic, Total Overdose Demo, Inside Stacked disc, Jak X Demo, The making of Ultimate Spiderman, and a Legend of Zelda: Twilight princess poster...just cuz I said Hey James, got any goodies I can have? ....My Gamestop has aweosme people...but they have a couple of losers too...

KB has them, but they fed me some line about having to buy a $20 game in order for them to so kindly give one to me. Whatever.
