Starts at $500.00 + $25.00 to ship.
Apparently he found 2 at a swap meet according to the listing.. Incredible.
You think he'd take a better pic.... :/
SOLD AS IS. UNABLE TO TEST! No returns.
EDIT: Something is fishy. There are no dipswitches on the cart!!!!

edit: That's a sure-fire fake. Isn't that red-label version based on a mock-up pic shown in Nintendo Power at the time of the 25 gold cart giveaway?

Nice pic. I suppose he doesn't own a ladder so he could get even further away?

I found 2 diffrent pics. One looks like the one in the auction, the other does show the dipswitch and doesnt have a red label.

See I always thought that the dip switches were necessary to operate the game, or for settings or something like that...
I am sure an NES expert will see this soon and we can make a better judgement call. If it turns out it is legit, I will remove the "FAKE??" from the topic.

Yeah, that's a horrible picture. You'd think that maybe he'd have been able to figure out how to put the cart on his lap and take a picture at least.

That is NOT what a gold one looks like. Here are some of the things that make it obvious:
That gold color doens't look the same as the actual gold one
No dipswitch
What the hell is that red label? The gold one just has a little sticker in the middle of it.
I don't know what to make of this. Maybe somebody did reproduce it one?

I think it's a fake.
Someone purchased zelda, stuck a sticker on it, and selling it as is.
scam artist at work!

There is absolutley no doubt at all whatsoever. That is a fake designed to look like the mockup picture from the issue of Nintendo Power that advertised the contest for the 26 Gold. Pretty, but FAKE! Seriously...there is no debate. It is fake.
Now, I believe it would be fitting to get this jerk pulled from eBay...that 16 feedback mofo.

Ok guys...I don't think it is real either...BUT...it does seem interesting
here is my maybe...BIG MAYBE
Maybe this is the cart from the nintendo power picture? It wouldn't surprise me at all if ninteno made up a few mock up carts (they often do stuff like this...we know) and some where along the way they made themselves around the country somewhere...Could be plausable
What do you think

Definitely not. The logo is a completely different size. Guys, case closed. Let it rest..it is fake. It is a fake designed to cash in on the current hype.

Fake! Him saying alone that he went to a swap meet 5 years ago and finding two in the same box gives it away there. Let's see, there is no way someone would leave two of those laying around in a loose box in a swap meet, and they would have caused so much commotion there that they would have sold instantly for high cash, the seller would know what they are and not just sell them for petty cash and WHO THE HECK WOULD HAVE TWO OF THOSE?
FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE!!!!!!!

I've seen an actual scan of a cart like that one, label printed on non glossy paper, gold cart, no dispwitches, it looked like shit and definitely home made.

I had 6 gold and 1 gray at one time, and 7 golds have passed through my hands ;)

I e-mailed the seller when I first saw it this morning noting that the two carts are obviously not what he is trying to say they are. If I see any bids I'll turn it in to ebay.

Someone should email him and ask him to take a picture of the game playing on his TV. He'd probably respond by saying he has no NES to test it on or something. LOL

Nespit, you tell that because you want all the NWC PROTO FOUND for yourself and you don't want to share.
MY PRECIOUSSSSSSSSS.
(the guy never answered any email yet? I was wondering what kind of bullshit he can pull, if it was repro, etc.)

What is this guy thinking? 5 available :hmm:. Who would believe somebody has 5 of them for sale, and furthermore... who would think that is an actual NWC cart.
Whats with the back of the cart too. Whats that black outline thing?

His story could be a little better if he was really giving it attention. Last week he said he had 2, now 5. Unless he has go back to the place he found the 2...
But he could have lied better than this. Make up a story about finding it in a flea market from a guy who used to work as nintendo and done a prototype.
Anyway it is either a frauder or someone just wanting to have fun ;-) -- no it is not me as I would have done the prank way more better LOL
But the craziness is still interesting and considering he copied the nintendo power picture (was it recent? or a old issue. If a old issue it is even better)
