Well he's promised to release Twilight Princess for Cube. That's good news.

In the short run. In the long run by not making it a Rev. title they are losing out on alot of system sales.

Not that argument again.
The Revolution's not going to need Twilight Princess to sell, besides in light on the new controller the game would have to be completly reworked or else the functionality would feel like a gimmick poorly tact on after the fact - which it would be.
Better to release Twilight Princess to the Cube as a last goodbye and thanks for all the fish and in the meanwhile continue work on a completely new Zelda to take full advantage of the Revolution.

Am I the only one who didn't think that interview "happened?" They never show Geoff and Iwata in the same shot. There's a bright, glowing green background which doesn't reflect on Iwata. The editing didn't seem right. The questions were generic. It seems like the interview was spliced in with some promotional video.
*Note: I can't watch on the 'net, but their TGS special had most of it. If this is different, please set me at ease.

I haven't seen either, but from what I've heard from other people, the aired version was severely edited. What a surprise. LOL

I found that really awkward to watch, with them not being in the same room and shots of the interviewer nodding his head.

I saw that too, it looks as though Geoff asked the questions for the aired version, then somone else probably read them to Iwata in Japananese. The guy's answers are obviously being dubbed over in english and it seems odd to me that somone who can't speak in english would completely understand it being spoken to him.
I doubt the explanation is anymore sinister then that.

I saw it last night. It probably was two different interviews, Geoff talking to the translator, and the translator talking to Iwata.
And I think it was pretty obvious that the English was dubbed by a translator.
