Why can't gaming mags have cover girls?


I must say, RARE have done a lot of work on Joanna since they released Perect Dark on the N64 all those years ago... Either that, or she has a really good surgeon!


Question: IF they did a film adaptation of Perfect Dark (A la Tomb Raider), who would you have as the lead role? Personally, i'd choose Andromeda's Lexa Doig (Rommie), as she has the look and the figure, and to me, she is perfect! Either her, or perhaps Jessica Alba (Dark Angel)

Unfortunately, I can't yet find any decent scans of the inside of the magazine, so can't show you yet, but it is well worth buying the mag for!

Well, let's put aside the fact that she's just 1's and 0's.

She's hot, and she looks like real enough to be real, so if she was than I'd go with a "Hot" vote, which is what I voted, hot. I understand the whole "she's not real I don't care" vibe, but we're at a point in video games where they can make people LOOK real, and there's nothing wrong with looking at them and thinking they are attractive.

If you lust over them, long to date them, imagine them real, masturbate to them, etc. etc....you need help.

This dosn't really have anything to do with the mag, but I think that the changes they've done to her since PD1 are a bit too drastic. If you were to hold a picture of both of them side by side, you would think it was from an entirely different game, and that isn't a good thing. Oh well.

Let's not forget PDZ is a prequel. She's supposed to look younger, more 'hip', etc. And I don't think they look that dissimilar to begin with, but that might be just me.

But is that not the point? Thay say that Joanna Dark (As created by Rare for PDZ) is supposed to be what every man dreams of. She is supposed to be everyman's perfect woman, and I must say, they did a pretty good job of that!

I doubt it will b very long before we start seeing entire Playboy style mags devoted to polygonal laydeez like this... Now THAT is the frigtening thing. It'll get to the point where you won't even be able to tell what is real and what is not real.
