A question to some Nintendo fanboys

First of all yes Im a Nintendo "fanboy" but ill be the first to say GC suked or Nintendo needs to make some adult games.

Anyway Im getting sick of everyone saying that Nintendo makes the most profit and XBOX loses money yada yada zzzz. Why the hell do u care how much money Nintendo make? Do you get any for XMAS, NO!

FACT despite Nintendo's huge profit, we still get less games than the competition, less popularity, less game advertising, 1 real Mario game a generation, less support etc.

Of course I can understand peoples love for Nintendo but you got to admit its stupid how people prounce around saying Nintendo makes more profit, it doesnt benefit us Nintendo fans.

Nintendo's huge profits means that my favourite companyisn't going to go out of business any time soon, games and consoles can be made with their profits and all that.
Also, its a good way to say "Overall, Nintendo is doing better than Microsoft on the game front".

I think people just say that when someone on here post things like "Nintendo is going to go out of business if they keep this up". Keep what up, still making money. Because it is true, that Nintendo still pulls in a BIG profit. :)

So... would you prefer they flood the market with games nobody wants, start losing money, go out of business, and ultimately we get ZERO new games?

Nintendo knows they have a small fanbase compared to the hoards who are playing PS2 and XBox, so they release just enough games to keep their fans satisfied. When you have a small audience, you want them to buy every big name game that you release, and releasing more than these fans can afford or play doesn't help any. It cost money to develop games, and right now, Nintendo is striking as good of a balance between development and sales as they can.

Yeah, the Gamecube didn't suck in the least. I've loved so many games for it and have enjoyed it immensely. It gets tons more play than my Xbox, which I haven't played a decent game for in over a year.

The gamecube it didn't suck. OMG it didn't get 15 versions of a fighting game, like ps2 or xbox its teh suxs!! O_O Whatever , it has many quality titles and I hope that Nintendo is around for many years to come. Without profits a business can't function, that is why people care, fanboys or not. :hmm:

I personally like the Gamecube much more than the PS2 and Xbox. I can't really understand why people always bad-mouth the Cube as a bad console. Are you mad because there was no "true" Mario game for it?

I can't stand all the crap about the Cube. I love the system and it's loads better then the crappy N64 (only liked Wave Race 64, Paper Mario, Sin and Punishment, Conkers Bad Fur Day and ehhhhhhhh oh that's it). The system has some great exclusives, which makes it worth the money easily. A few more exclusives which I loved:
- Beach Spikers
- PSO Episode III Card Revolution
- Super Monkey Ball (ok now also on PS2 and Xbox, but exclusive for a long time)
- Doshin the Giant (don't know if it was released in the states, but I liked it even though it's a N64-conversion)
- Zelda: 4 Swords
- FF:CC

In fact it's the only next gen system I have connected at the moment, oh but sorry I'm no Nintendo Fanboy.

I have a Gamecube only so I could get a FEW titles, which are mainly the good ones:

ALL Resident Evil titles Zero,remake,2-4
Soul Calibur II
Mario Kart
Metroid
Animal Crossing
Worms 3D


no way does Nintendo pull in as much as Sony and Xbox, sorry guys

They may pull in less, but they don't spend as much, and that's how you observe profit.

Super Smash Bros. Melee was awesome. RE4 was awesome. Hell, even Wind Waker was awesome. I've only played like 4 PS2 games over the last couple months, and a ton of Melee.

Also, Nintendo does a shitload for their customers. They do awesome promo deals all the time, and registering three products on Nintendo.com results in free stuff or damned good deals.

Nintendo is awesome, and don't forget they still rule the handheld market. There are many great games for the Cube, but many people don't bother to notice. I wouldn't dare say Nintendo sucks, because they don't.

Uh....well, I was gonna say a whole lot of stuff, but CMOS said it all already so.....what he said.

Gamecube r0x0r'd, I'm still finding lots of titles for it that I never played that are just phenomenal. Absolutely had the highest quality games/total games ratio of any of the current-gen systems.

What kind of "adult games" do you want anyway? San Andreas? Who the fuck cares?

As far as I'm concerned, Nintendo justifies both their existence and my continued purchases of their hardware by producing at least one really really really awesome game every couple years, be it SM64, SM Sunshine, Wind Waker, or whatever. I'll gladly buy every piece of hardware they release, at launch, from now until eternity just for that.
