I'm curious though...would this include the games that TRU already has marked down to 50% off (which will soon be 70% off)??

I'll have to locate a TRU..
When do they have their green tag sales? I hear it's the best of all TRU game sales (For the BUYER, that is! :D )

The green tag sale is going on now. I think there up to 50% off going to 70% soon.
I was going to pick up capcom collection today, then remembered this post. I will wait till sunday and actually buy at least one game I really want from TRU insted of just grapping a random 3.

ouchies... for the past few years it's been buy 2 get 1 free no matter what the price was. I would always stock up on games that I didn't want to pay full price for, since I buy 99.9% of the games I want on their release date.
since I already own anything that I'd want at $19.99, this sale is useless to people like me :(
thanks for the heads up though!

I don't think this is as good as you think. Best Buy and Circuit City have a buy two greatest hits for 25 dollars all the time. That's a better deal. The other day, I got two for 20 dollars. I don't know. Just doesn't seem "that" special.

We just had such an action here in the netherlands at a record store as well, only it counted for all games on any system, and even on pre-orders on some anticipated games.

ah memories. Using this sale and a coupon last year I managed to pick up a bunch of PS2 games including beyond good and evil, soul calibur 2, RE:CV and others for less than 2 dollars each.

Aye I wish this was the buy 2 get 1 free on everything, but still pretty neato I suppose.
Gives me an excuse to finally pickup Burnout 3 too.

Off-hand, anyone happen to know the store hours for 'Toys R Us' stores (assuming they have standard hours each store goes by) on sundays?
Searched their website a bit, some reason couldn't find the hours listed anywhere. I wanna get there around opening if at all possible. Thanks bunches for any info :D

I can confirm first-hand that the 50% off sale combines with the buy 2, get 1 free deal.
At noon today, I bought Musashi Samurai Legends (PS2, $9.99 after 50% off), Spy Fiction (PS2, 9.99 after 50% off) and Pinball Hall of Fame (PS2, free). The total was a little under $21.
I originally purchased Musashi Samurai Legends ($9.99 after 50% off) and Pinball Hall of Fame ($6.99 regular price) last week, so I returned them and got my money back. I got $17.87 back.
The same stupid manager who was there last year when the 70% off and the buy 2, get 1 free combined witnessed me getting over on Geoffrey and friends again this year. It was pretty sweet.

You're lucky then. I tried buying Metal Slug 3, Xenosaga 2 and Capcom Classics Collection and they said I couldn't do it because two of the items were already discounted. x_x

That sucks, I just picked up 3 of the Green Tag games for 20 bucks. I guess it's just hit or miss depending on location.

Thank you for the heads up on this one, man. Much appreciated.
Here's my haul from today thanks to your awesomeness:

All for ~$75
They had a buy 1 dvd get the second half off, so I ended up picking up Friends Season 9 and getting Two Towers Extended Edition for $15, too.
I almost bought a $50 stuffed dog. The thing was fucking huge and was awesomely cuddly, but I ended up leaving it on the shelf :( Also came close to buying a little stuffed dog/purse thing for $15, because I figured it'd make an AWESOME Nintendo DS carrying case. Almost.
Maybe next time I go.

Picked up the deals in the last min (Tron 2.0 XB, Worms 4, and Alien Hominid GC), IMO, very good deal, considering TRU has many uncommon Xbox games, I didn't want to splurge but couldn't resist the deal. Tha's $13.33 a game.
