It would have to be the Final Fantasy Legend 2 proto I just 'won' off eBay.

For different systems here my list:
Atari 2600 VCS - Raiders of the Lost Ark (own) or Dragonfire (found ROM)
NES - Crystalis (own) or Final Fantasy 2 (USA) (seen) [released in Japan, so not unreleased ;) ]
SNES - Final Fantasy III, Chrono Trigger or Secret of Mana (all only seen). My best own is Final Fantasy Mystic Quest and / or Illusion of Gaia.

This would be a tough call.
Maybe the pre-alpha of Final Fantasy Tactics for ps1.
