OK, so everyone's favorite horror author won't be there...but there *IS* a connection I discovered.
Was watching the made-for-TV miniseries "The Stand" the other day. YOu know how humanity broke down into two factions - the good people went to Boulder, CO, and the bad people went to - where else - Las Vegas? Well, I never really paid attention too much before, but I just realized that Randall Flagg (the evil guy leader/demon) used The Plaza as his base of operations! That's right, CGE is being held in Mankind's Final Bastion of Deceit and Villiany!
