I think he wanted to say:

Slap yourself for being a chepass.

At least that is what I was going to say anyway...

Agreed..I bought one from a DPer here, and I paid $45....that's a steal. Frankly, if I sold it (which I won't) it'd be for AT LEAST cost...maybe more.

Yeah, $20, especially with shipping, is WAY too low. That's less than 50%! It might even be around 37%! Just buy it for $45, it's not that much.

Is this a Japanese DQ5 ROM or one of the fan-translated DQ5 ROMs they're putting on the cart? I mean, a Japanese copy of DQ5 is like maybe 400 yen.

I am totally lost on this thread.

Why would I sell a *very rare* game, a game you can't find anywhere, for A LOT less that it cost me a couple of months ago ? :hmm: If nobody want to sell it for less than 45$, you can say that 45$ is the real price of the game. And it's totally worth that price.

Great game by the way, and thanks again to Necrosaro to sell them :D

But you can wait, maybe you'll find it for cheap in a videogame store, who knows ;)

It's a fan-translated rom, put on a SNES cart by Necrosaro420, a member of this forum.

Why not plan ahead and just buy a Tototek Super Flash Kit, so that you can burn whatever fan translation you want to a SNES cart? Check it out, you can hook it up to your PC via a parallel-printer port and dump your own games and write ROMs to the flash cart:
http://www.tototek.com/pio/main1/SUBMENU/PARTS/LINKS/OS/superflash.htm
http://www.tototek.com/

It is a little expensive, but you can re-use it over and over again for other great English translations of SNES games.

Thanks for bringing this up as a topic !

yo,why all the smart ass comments?im on a budget,i got bills,i was hoping to get it cheap, thats all.yes,i am a cheapass right now,so what?and its not"rare",its a rom on a cartridge that can be had for $45 from a cool website/store.i guess its rare as i cant go to my local gamecrap type store and buy one,but its not anything that would be a holy grail (at least not in my eyes).if you dont have one to sell or trade, why make stupid comments like for me to slap myself?anyways,i already have the super famicom version, and a rom translated in english on my pc,so i guess i can just play it that way. but if anyone does want to sell one for $20(ok $25)shipped,please let me know.ps:being a cheap ass rules!!!

If you have bills and you're on a budget, should you really be buying games now? :shameful:

If you have bills and you're on a budget, should you really be buying games now? :shameful:why sure i should.you see, since you made a comment on my comment,i will tell you what i meant by "having bills and being on a budget".i have the typical bills like anyone else(monthy house payment, utilities, food, etc)and with my house taxes and of course gas going up in prices(i hold back one small sum every month for my taxes,so that way i have the money when there due)i have put my hobbies on a budget.thats the budget im referring to.i usually spend anywhere from 10-60 dollars a week on games, dvd's,action figures.and while i really do think that the reproduction of dw5 is worth the asking price of $45,i just dont want to spend that much on a game that i am playing on my pc,and have the import version of,but i would really like to play the english version on my snes, but not enough to pay $45 for.so,i figured, why not ask the fine folks on digital press if anyone has a copy they dont play anymore, and get it for a cheaper price?of course,a few of people seem offended by the question,or offended by my offer, which if there not in the market to sell, why even offer a offhanded comment?anyways,i have gotten offtrack with this.im gonna let this go.if you think my offer is to low, then so be it.

Heh, if I was paying for a reproduction, I would be keeping it. Besides, it costs money/time to produce these. Eproms are not that cheap. And it takes skill to solder things properly. I think $45 is quite reasonable.

Save up the money for a few weeks so you can afford the game, or if you really want to be a cheapass download the rom and patch for free. Not like you need our charity to play it.

Preplayed for half the price of cost is what I'd call chairty. Or stupidity.
