It's a well known fact that "rare" usually equals "crap" but once in a while we find a rare gem that makes us all feel proud to be game collectors. Which games do you feel combine rare and excellent? (yes i did steal this quote from the rarity guide but damn I couldn't have said it any better!)

Anytime I find a SNES rarity/gem and it took a while to get. Recieving the game in the mail and being able to play it is well worth the hunt :)

Awesome RPGs like Chrono Trigger and Ogre Battle. Not necessarily ultra rare or anything, but still hard to find nonetheless.

hehe ;P
Well.. you can always wait and wait for a pricedrop, but why not just use $10 more and play it now instead of waiting for months and maybe years.

Because I'm not too desperate to get it now.

Fair enough, but I doubt the games will drop $10, maybe never. So your most likely waiting for something that will never happend.

I'm just not willing to pay as much as people are demanding for it yet. I don't see how that goes with your comment.

Pac-Mania-NES
Diner - Intelly
Qix-NES
Cubivore-Gamecube
Fortess of Narzod-Vectrex
Earthbound-SNES
Yes Im aware some of these arent actually rare(just a pain to track down) but they are pricey and hard to come by.
I was very happy with these!

Is Smurfs 2 really worth it? I haven't played the game for SMS, but still. If that game is good, how is it incomparing with the SNES version.

well, all the smurfs games are good imho, haven't played the sms part 2 one too much, it's dumped though, i should give it another try. It wouldn't be fair to compare it to the snes version though, nes would be better, of course there was no smurfs 2 for nes ;)
speaking of this, someone should write a comparison on all the smurfs games for nes, ms, gg, snes, gb and gbc
