Today I'm off from school, so I hit up some shops and got some games, heres what I got:

And if you remember my mom got me some NES games at a shop for 1$ a piece, so I went and pick the rest. Heres what was left:

Really good condition...only 4 bucks shipped. Everyone in AZ wants like 8 bucks for a nasty sun faded copy =\. The only 32x game I need now is World Series Baseball, that's it.

Went to my local FYE today and picked up Koei's "Yanya Caballista: City Skater" for PS2, sealed $10.

I have no idea what the value of this thing is, but I didnt get the last copy, so maybe Ill pick up another to keep sealed.

Also, did it come with the skateboard?

I scored near mint copies of Tomb Raider 1, 2, and 3 for PSX just after someone traded them in, $5 Canadian each. I know another shop where I can get the fourth one in clean condition tomorrow. Gotta laugh when you find what were once "commons" for the PSX in great condition.....and you freak out and snap 'em up quick. Who'd of thunk there'd come a day? LOL

Stretch Panic blows, but for $6 I couldn't pass it up.
Been wanting to play Headhunter for a while now. Keep hearing it's the bee's knees.
Mechassault I bought just for the save game exploit. Fuck the core game...it's a shame what's happened to Mechwarrior :(

and Midway Arcade Treasures 3...mm...what an awesome series this is turning out to be.

:D Been lusting over the PCE since CGE. I'm a complete Turbo virgin, prior to getting this today my experience with the system has been limited to playing Bonk's Adventure on a Turbo Express for about 20 minutes.

Mr. Heli is decent, Galaga and Doraemon are both ace. Any other cheap must-haves I should snap up? :)

(And in case you're wondering, I paid over the bar for these as I didn't feel like getting outbid again -- $275 shipped for the lot.)

It's reasonably uncommon in Japan, but it's hardly rare...certainly no Virtual Bart. Hardly sought-after either as the common US release plays just the same.

Gamestation has the Genesis Phantasy Star 3 for �40. I'd say you got a very decent deal. They have the Megadrive one for �30.

I paid $6 for the one I traded a while back. Sure, it didn't have that blasted hintbook, but still. Sheesh.

Also got Katamari ($29.99 new, not waiting for the price to lower, as it'll vanish from my area), as well as XCom UFO Defense for $7. Yes... $7. And it had everything. I traded it to Damion, however, and I hope he likes it. ;)

Yeah, Gamestation is overpriced on a lot of things. I tend to only buy Megadrive games under �5 from there

Got a pretty damn nice price with the discount. It was insane in that store...I forgot Tommy Lee was gonna be there for cd signings....we had a table set up with like 300 copies of his damn cd, and there was a pretty big line. He was there cause Motley Crue's playing at the Glendale Arena.

At the end of September, Toys R Us in Canada was clearing out Doom 3 CE for $14.99 CDN. I missed it but did grab a Jade Empire LE for that price.

Cool, but my Toys R Us in Texas, USA sucks at times....everytime I go in, it's like the place is being re-arranged, but really, it isn't....

got the atari games from a dp deal, the gba games + famicom games from a friend at botcon as well as the nes games.
all the psx junk was from gamestop getting in a large rpg collection, which included both lunars and valkiery profile i got those as well but already dumped them on some suckers on ebay ;-)

but yeah overall its been an insanely good finds week for me,
also got zelda ages and blastermaster 2 for gbc pretty cheap at ebgames.

what was nice was they didn't have worms on the shelf but when the eb peon was digging around in the box of games there was a copy (been looking for it for awile)

overall a nice haul, I also picked up the greatest shits toshinden for 2$, is anyone aware if theres a version that doesn't have the "1 or 2 players" sticker on the manual?

i've never seen this as a greatest shits before, was curious how hard it was to come by.

I had to track down the mailman after missing my package,
which contained 13 dirt common atari 2600 games+their intruction manuals .Pac-man , Space invaders , etc.

My mailman hunt was worth it! I spent my lunchbreak playing Combat , Missle Command , and Skiing with my XBox loving boyfriend. :lovin:

Today I was already happy because I was going to pickup my copy of DDS 2 that I pre-resereved.

On the way there I stopped at a used game store and got River City Ransom for the NES for $5.

Then I get to EB for my DDS 2 game and the clerk mentions they have a copy of SMT: Nocturne.

Oh the temptation!

So I wager the chance to pick up Nocturne versus the strong chance that my wife will kill me for spending $40 more than I planned to.

Of course common sense didn't win. :)
(At least I've got some playtime with it before she comes home and kills me.)

Picked up NES "Skate or Die", "Home Alone", and "Home Alone 2" for $1.25 each. Also picked up THE SIMS 2 PC expansion pack for $3 bucks at the Goodwill... hopefully making a trip to EB this weekend to see if I can find anything new :/

Lord, I loved that game. One of these days I'm going to have to break it out and play through it again.

Dark Savior was fun too, but god damn did it have some wonky controls. (Still liked it a fair bit better than Landstalker)
