Since noone answered me in the other tread I'll just make a topic on it. I have some games(and probably some music cds) that have fingerprints on them. Whats the best way to get it off?

I use a none ruff cloth, blow hot breat on the cd 8-) and wipe the disc "Verticly or Horizontally". Any other way could possibly scratch them( circular motion). Then buy one of those plastic covers that allow you to play the games even though it on.
This might help you better though

Just bring it to a crime lab...they'll get prints off of anything. ;)

pretty much right on-
hot breath and wipe from center to outside (or vice versa) instead of side to side or circular.
the pits in a cd are read somewhat like a vinyl record, and side to side scratches can cause dropouts easier than a scratch from inside to outside.

believe it or not, wetting the cd and stroking it with a very soft and clean material (like, fresh Brauny-style paper towels) to make sure its dry before reusing.
