I don't blame you - Don't post an auction until you receive the item, there ARE people here who want to ruin a good deal because they did not get it.

Well, ya can't blame me for trying! And it had been on my watch list since the first day it was posted - I was the one who asked if he'd add a BIN price ;)
At least I wasn't the direct underbidder - you'd have paid the same whether I had bid or not. Nice grab! :)

heh likewise... i had a sneaking feeling it was you after it, as the name James appeared in the questions...

Also, someone said, do you ship to Germany... I though i had Jan (Hydr0x) chasing it too... Turned out not to be him though... Either way i was a little worried!

i kept hush and hoped for the best ;) hoping nobody else found it :P Last day of the auction, Put a max bid of £45 in and went to sleep :P woke up and was shocked at how low it went for!
Im suprised you didnt outbid me in the end as £26.50 is dirt cheap for this right?

Also i would have thought you already had this one. How is the Megadrive hunt coming along now?

Nah, I'm kinda spent up already this month - couldn't resist a wee pop, but didn't really expect to win it - I'd have set my alarm for 4am and sniped it if I was! ;) £26.50 is pretty good, the last couple of complete ones were around £40-£50 (there was one that reached £77, but the buyer never came through on it).

Currently at around 300 MD titles, but with practically all the R6/R7's out of the way (still need FF2, Daze and one or two others though :( ).
Probs another good year or so yet to get 'em all - I keep being distracted by worldwide SMS rarities/variations, SG1000 games and other random bits & bobs... ;)

Man am I glad I found my boxed (no manual) Fatal Fury 2 in an auction with some other games and mislabeled- All up it came to about $5 Au (8 games for $25) :-P

Although not as exciting as Slam masters or FF2, I'm reasonably happy with Seaquest DSV complete for $4.95 Au. A good week for Mega Drives everywhere I'd say :)

Saturday Night Slammasters (MD, CIB) - £1.50 BIN :D

Holy crap - nice one!

Who the hell puts a £1.50 BIN on a CIB MD game that isn't Sonic the Hedgehog??

Well yes, but it is kinda mangy condition though, isn't it? I saw it too, but it looks like it's had the cover cut up to put into a video rental box.

My recent winnings:

Seemingly crappy PlayStation lot, I know, but the key item here is that copy of Einhander. I already have the manual for the game, so it's exactly what I need to piece together a complete copy. Then I should be able to squeeze out around $20 when I sell the system, leaving me with Einhander and a couple other games I don't have for a very reasonable price. :)

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8223641975

Not sure how I did on this one, especially with the guide being down. I'm a little concerned with the person saying it's in "ok condition, used alot", and I'm hoping the seller is right when he/she says the screen isn't as bad as it looks. But hey, I'm finally getting a Game Gear, and I'm getting Shining Force and Defenders of Oasis with it, so I'm happy. :) Here's to hoping I'm not disappointed with the condition when it arrives. How do you guys think I did on this one?

I saw a funny sonic one a few weeks ago. It had RARE in the title and it was cartridge only. Started at £3 + postage (about £1.50, I think) LOL

Is Phantasy Star really that worthless or did you get a great deal? It seems really expensive over here, with the Genesis version being worth more than the Megadrive one.

Not bad at all ...

... although the price for this game on ebay France seems to have dropped through the floor. I just saw a copy go for 5,50 Euros, only the two bids. It was a France only auction, but still ... there also seems to be a pretty limitless supply of sealed copies of almost every common DC game in existence in France.

Yeah, I'd been waiting for a cheap-ish one for a while, since selling my last copy a while back for £40 (after paying £17 sealed :) ).

I've been surprised about the continued supply of sealed games aswell - stuff that was once pretty spendy like Evil Twin & Cannon Spike can now be had every day of the week for about £6 sealed. Kinda glad now that I didn't persue a complete set a couple of years back like I was considering...

According to the price guide i use a CIB copy is $30, but it's always less in a lot of games :D

OH YEAH. The seller that had this was also selling a NiGHTS Chao plush and a giant SA2 Rouge plush, which is why it went for so low, I think. I almost won it for the starting bid as well :( He's going to sit next to my SA Knuckles (which cost significantly more moolah).

Yay for buy it now. I've been looking for a very cheap one of these for a while now.

Um, I like Sonic plushies. :P

Some of you know that I won this auction well I recieved it today so both the good and the bad. It ended up being about a 62/50 split on games that I didn't have and dupes. So I'll mention the notables in the set that I didn't get.

Columns, Dick Tracy, Fantasy Zone III , Ghouls and Ghosts, Golvellius, Golden Axe Warrior, Kings Quest, Alex Kidd Shinobi World, Buster Douglas, Montezuma's Revenge, Sonic , Strider, Y's.

I did get a ton of games I didn't have though, like the Blue and White Version of Power Strike, but there was a few dupes.

All of the dupes are up for trade or for sale, I'm going to make a post in the buy sell area.

I got a mint, complete Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse for $8.36 shipped. Somehow I misplaced my cart-only copy of it, and stumbled across this one when trying to replace it.

Heh, so do I! :)
From what I can gather though, it was untested because the hard-wired power lead isn't US-compatible, rather than being a standard eBay "broken, so I'll just call it untested" situation.

Still, even if it doesn't, I'm pretty happy about just getting the 3 Korean-exclusive carts... :)

I've been doing alright with sealed Dreamcast games.

I've won

Street Fighter 3 Third Strike
Gunbird 2
Gundam Side Story
Jet Grind Radio
Test Drive
Phantasy Star 2.0
MDK2
Space Channel 5
8 other Sports games

For other consoles I've won Crimsons Skies for the XBox and Dual Hearts for the PS2.

I also got a good BIN on a set of the Star Wars Jedi Apprentice books. Actually it's missing one of the SE books but that's no biggie.

Normally I don't brag about ebay purchases but this one made me giddy, especially when it arrived in tip-top shape:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8226725900

Mint complete Power Blade 2. Whooo!

Probably the only reason I was able to snag the BIN is because an identical auction was carrying on beside it. Well that one ended at basically a few cents short of mine including shipping, so waiting was a moot point!
