It turns out that I'm going to be taking my first trip to Cleveland this weekend to hit the zoo up there. Does anyone know if there are any good game stores (preferably that sell imports) in the area?

This is an older thread but it might be some help.

There is no store that I know of in Cleveland that sells imports.
Heh... I'm going to be up in the Cleveland area this weekend too (going to visit relatives and go to a Browns game :) )! I'm not so sure about imports, but I saw the guy from http://www.videogameconnection.com/ at ECGE and he's from Cleveland. His prices were reasonable and he knew his games, so you might want to drop by there.

Unfortunately, I know of no import stores near Cleveland. Some kickass Puerto Rican food places, but no import stores.
However, there's a nice place called Jamie's Flea Market in Southern Amherst.

I'm not one prone to give away my favorite hotspot, but it's running out of stuff for me. If you plan to go, say, this Saturday, I can guarantee that I will be there.

Amherst has a gaming store called Flashback but the prices are a flashback (meaning expect pretty much prices for retro systems like they cost back in the day...)
