I found waynes world for the nes complete with box, instructions, and game the other week at the local goodwill. I have been looking on ebay for what it is going for but they only have it for the SNES. Does anyone know how much that it is worth and how rare it is if it is rare at all. Thanks in advance

You don't see this one all that often. However, no one seems to care. It never sells for very much.

Yeah, definitely rare but probably not worth much. I've never seen a single Wayne's World in my 7 years of collecting NES.

I'd say about $20-$25 for a complete copy.

I'd go back and pick it up as soon as possible. It won't take long for one of us members to find out which store you are talking about and snag it up from underneath you. I agree on the price value as well. It goes in the same value class as Jungle Book, Alfred Chicken, Jetsons, Wacky Races, and Rockin' Kats.

Its listed as an R5 on the mini-guide. Its a late release title but its not worth that much, 5-6 bucks loose. No demand I guess would be the factor in low price.

Like others have said earlier, it's a later release and it's not worth much. My local game store has had the same copy for over a year now and it doesn't sell. It's priced at $9.00 loose.

I'd like to play that game one of these days, just to see how truely bad it is.

Its definitely one of the harder-to-find NES games. Its definitely not worth as much as the 'heavy-hitters' of the library (Panesians, Cheetahmen II, etc...) but it can generate a lot of money, espessially if it is complete in box.
Its one of the last 100 or so games that I need to complete my collection, so it has got to be some-what rare.

Don't forget swampthing, power blade 2, die hard, bram stokers dracula, widget, race america and best of the best... all of which are harder then balls to find complete. I'd say each one would fit in your catagory as well.

thanks for the replies. I have never seen the game before and at goodwill I saw the box there on the table and thought it was just a waynes world vhs tape. Then I found a complete copy of krazy kreatures beside it and then looked at the waynes world copy and saw the nintendo seal. The only thing wrong I found was they had a price tag on the front before and when they peeled it off it took some of the cardboard with it. I will post some pics for you guys and girls to check out. Thanks again

would agree with all of those except rockin kats and bram stoker's, and die hard somewhat as well - those are quite a bit easier than the others to find, based on what I've seen for sealed copies anyway (I don't mean to drag the discussion into that direction, it's just that those are the ones I watch for). Seen lots of rockin kats/stoker's/and a few die hards but very few of the rest. If I could find sealed jungle books then my copy wouldn't look like it had been punted through the uprights! LOL
