View Full Version : Help!! Anybody beat Zelda four swords adventure?
I can't beat Vaati in the final battle.
I have looked on Faqs sites and it says to shoot up
and hit him in the air.
It then says he will go to the lower level and you can
fight him down there and repeat until he is defeated.
I have hit him at least 50 times and he only went to the
lower level once.
I need to know exactly what to do.
Do I hit him while the blue balls are there or not?
Does it matter where he is when I hit him?
Is there some secret to this that I am not getting?
I am about to chuck the whole stupid game :angry:
Surely someone has beaten this game................

Haven't gotten that far yet sorry. I tend to take up to a couple of years these days to beat games :D

Yes, I've beaten this game. I really didn't have any problems that I can remember for the last boss. I wish I could remember the strategy to beat him but I played through it last January. Sorry...
Fun game though! :D

I beat this game in 2-Player Mode. We needed quite a bit to figure it out and I hope I can remember what we did.....
There's some stairs in the corners and a hole in the center of the screen w/ a cannon below, right? What we did was getting shot out of the cannon while the boss was swirling around in the air, near the whole and then hit him with the sword. Not the regular attack, but the one, where you stab the sword downward while jumping. The boss should be taunted and disappear in the basement, where you can fight him now. HTH...
Hmmm.
I believe that is what we are doing.
Do we need to do anything after we hit him?
Maybe something to get him to go down?

Hmm... can't think of anything else.... we beat the game a couple of months ago and it was late at night and we had some beers....
this is what I found in a boss guide, but it's not really different:
Vaati, the Wind Demon, has returned. Keep watching Vaati's cyclopic eye and wait for it to blink before throwing it into the whirlwind beneath the demon. Keep the process up until Vaati drops to the ground. However, you're not done yet. Use the hole in the centre of the chamber to gain access to a cannon. Target Vaati's eye and launch yourself right into it. A class circus act right there.
