My question is how exactly did you win?? What I mean is did you enter all you entries into one drawing or did you get lucky with only 1 entry. How many entries did it take??
I was thinking waiting until close to the end of the contest and enter all I have up until that point into one drawing. I think that would give the best possible odds to win.

I would pick a time on a weekday at like 12am and not wait till the end (Every one will be dumping there unused codes in the final days)

I saved 12 codes fom 12 hours, and then I entered 1 every 5 mins over the hour.

Well, I won mine on the very first code I put it, I just put er in and I won:)
The only real benefit to saving up codes and entering them in all at once is if you pick an hour when there are less than average amount of entries.
I did the math and your odds of winning are better if you enter the codes in 1 per hour, rather than all at once. However, the more entries there are, the less difference it makes if you spread your entries out.
Based on an hour with 2000 entries (the entries vary between 1700 to 2300 over the course of a day), you have about a .25% (that's a quarter of a percent) better chance of winning if you spread your entries out. This increased chance drops drastically if even a few hundred more codes are entered.
To sum it up, unless you are saving your codes for entry in between 5-8am EST, the best times according to the entry history, then you are better off entering spreading them out.

I'm playing the Canadian contest and I can't seem to find out where you got your FREE codes. I'm already registered. I don't want to keep eating chips every day and I've got bags all over the place.
Everybody and their dog know about this contest now, so wouldn't it be better to hold off and wait until the last week or so, when people either "forget" or give up on hopes of winning?

The very first draw had 3 entries. Man, it would have been sad to be one of those 3 and lose. ;)
I think that the number of entries per hour is only going to go up as time goes on. Toward the end it will reach record heights as people who have been saving up codes from products dump them all in the last few days.
The US "every 10 minutes" contest blows because you can't get free codes online.

I won in the US Every 10 Minutes promotion. I can say that everyday that goes by the lower your chances are that you'll win. There are definetly more people entering more codes. All I can tell you is that I put in 2 per drawing at random times. Whenever I felt like entering my codes is when I'd put them in for the next drawing. It took me 56 codes to finally win, but I had another 25 in drawings after the one I won. I don't recomment holding on to them or putting all your codes into one drawing. I had been playing on and off for about a month when I won.
It also helps if you have people at your workplace (or your family and friends) save their caps for you.

Look in your history. According to the "new" rules, they will leave you a post if you win in the history of your account.
