Anyone else getting this tomorrow or WED? I know I am. I have been playing since the first day of SOCOM1 and have been leading a clan for over 3 years. My name on there is PeteDorr, send me a frineds invite if you wanna play. Ill probably have it tomorrow around 4.

I might get it (I have SOCOM 2). I'm not sure yet and want to see some more reviews and opinions first. Although Target has it for $38.88 this week, I will probably wait for the Toys 'R Us Buy-2-Get-1-Free sale starting on the 23rd. Battlefield 2: Modern Combat and Star Wars Battlefront II are both coming soon, which makes it harder for me to decide.

Im getting it. Not soon though. I going to wait to see what other people say about it first. I remember when Socom 2 came out. A lot of people hated it. Now its like 26,000 people a night playing.

I hope you guys know you have to put in a credit card # if you want a friends list, to be in a clan, and to be ranked. And you can only have 1 name per credit card.

Yeah, that blows, I still might rent it to check it out, I am not big on the whole clan thing, and friends lists, hell I got xbox live for that..

I was playing it yesterday at work, I can't lie, I was surprisingly pleased with the game. It's just a better extension of the Socom franchise pretty much. Nothing wrong with that.
$50 tho? Bah, maybe later.

Same here. I only played the demo. The mission was pretty cool, but the graphics are a downgrade from S1 and S2. At first, I thought I was playing a souped up PS1 game.
I think Im going to pass on this one. Plus from what I hear, the game has too many bugs
