I started looking today at the "serial/code" of my Zelda chartridges, one thing i noticed is that my USA version of Zelda don't have any "serial/code" !?

So i picked my zelda apart and checked the PCB, i found a serial on the PCB that say, NES-SNROM-02 .. so i did a search on google and found a page that explains the diffrent chips that are in the chartridges. Zelda had a notice on the NES-SNROM-01 .. but no SNROM-02 ? ..

I also did see some info on a none "serial/code" version of the chartridge this was stated as rare ?

My other versions of zelda has "serial/code" NES-ZL-SCN and NES-ZL-EEC.. the EEC is early release ? It misses the nintendo quality seal (the star)!

Anyone who knows anything about this ? Im really confused about it =)

normal, early game release by Nintendo in US/Canada don't have the serial code, this was add later.

Since you living in Sweden this is normal also. "SCN" means "Scandinavia" (game released for Denmark/Norway/Sweden/Finland) Box and manual for this Zelda was probably in sweden (i'm living in Canada, my copy have NES-ZL-CAN, box and manual in french/english).

For the "EEC", i think it's the early code for european release but i'm not sure about that.

in short, you have nothing rare.
