I'm Nintendo DS fan, as some of you may have realised by now. And I'm prepping myself - like many others - for a pretty hectic winter release schedule for my much loved handheld. One game that has excited me for a little while now, and is due for a release inside of two weeks, is Metroid Prime Pinball.
I'll admit... I'm not a huge pinball fan. I own just the two pinball games: Pinbot, for my NES, and Epic's Pinball Construction Kit for the PC (which I bought in the early nineties, much to my regret). As it happens, I also owned a very cool pinball table when I was much younger, which was an absolute blast (before I broke it).
I'll also admit... I'm not particularly crazy for Metroid Prime, either. I missed out on the 2D iterations of old and new, and have barely scratched the surface of the GameCube offerings.
With the above in mind, I still can't wait to get the pinball tables pumping in MPP. Obviously the dual screens lend themselves nicely to this gameplay. And recent previews over at GameSpy (http://gba.gamespy.com/nintendo-ds/metroid-pinball/657354p1.html) and IGN (http://ds.ign.com/articles/657/657364p1.html) left me craving this game even more.
Anyone else looking forward to this, then?
